SAVANNA POV
I had to keep holding this secret I have been holding for sixteen years. About Alex from Auriela. I never thought or even wanted, to tell her. But I guess she needs to know.
Alex had moved us from the cellar to a bedroom where we both shared. I walked over to her bed where she was sleeping. I lightly shook her.
" Honey? " I said gently. She stirred but sat up.
"I need to tell you something. " I said. She furrowed her brows.
" What mom?" She asked curiously.
" You have been wanting to know why Alex kidnapped us. I will tell you. " I said.
She nodded and I took in a sigh.
" I was new to town going to a new school with new friends and everything. But I met Alex. We dated and he started abusing me. One day he kidnapped me and your father. I shot him but his body was never found." I said.
Auriela looked at me. " I am so sorry. " She said. I shook my head.
" It's not your fault honey." I told her.
"But you still shouldn't have to go through that." She said. I gave her a hug.
" Thank you. " I said.
We stood there hugging for a little bit. Alex came in.
"Savanna, you need to cook for me. Auriela stay in your room. " He demanded.
I walked out of the room, after giving my baby girl a kiss.
AURIELA POV
He stood there looking at me.
" I'm not as bad as you think." He said. I shook my head. Tears started streaming out of my eyes. I stood up clenching my teeth.
" No. You are a monster. What you did to my mom is unforgivable. I know you want her back but stay put of my life." I scream. I shoved him. He stumbled back. He glared at me.
He stomped towards me. I started shaking. Not with sad or scared. With anger.
He pinned me against the wall.
"You are pathetic. Not me. Look at you. Your a hoe. Bringing a baby into this world. And being pregnant at sixteen? " He scoffed.
" At least I didn't abuse my girlfriend. " I told him. He slapped me across the cheek. I backed up onto the bed. He pinned me down and leaned to my face.
"At least my life is worth something. "
