It's Time

Auriela POV

We stood up straight. My mom looked out the window from the living room and saw me, Drake and Alex. She put her hand over her mouth.

" Auriela. " Alex said. "I need to tell you something." He got closer to me. Drake stood in front of me.

" Don't you dare touch her." He said. Alex looked at him with daring eyes. He raised the gun and knocked it on his head. I scream as loud as I could. Then I started running. I heard his footsteps behind me. Then my vision went black.

I woke up tied to a chair. My mom was on the chair that was tied behind me. Alex stood there with the gun in hand.

"Auriela, do you know how long I have wanted to get rid of you? I wanted your mother only. But well, I got you too. Now I can get rid of you. I can get a new life." He cackled. I got my fingers out of the rope. I used my fingers to thread the knots.

" But of course, you will die and your mother will live with me."

I dropped the ropes. He raised the gun and waves with his hand. I jumped up and shoved him. The gun went off. A bullet hit the ceiling. My mom stood up. We ran out of the room and down the hall.

A bullet hit the wall right next to us. I looked back. Alex was there holding the gun. He smirked and charged. Me and my mother went into the room and locked the door. We shoved everything against it.

Liquid dripped down my legs. My mother looked at me horrified as a puddle formed underneath me. I looked at her ad I felt a sharp pain in my lower stomach. I scream. 

But we had to get out of here. I stood taller and looked at mom.

" We have to jump out the window and run." I said. She nodded and gave me a hug.

" I love you, baby." She said. A tear slipped put of her eye and onto my shoulder.

She jumped out of the window. She started running. A gunshot hit off the door.

I jumped out of the window following my mom. We started back towards the woods. I was eight months pregnant and my water just broke.  I would stop every once in a while to handle the pain but I needed to keep going. 

I was running when there was a gunshot.

Right on my chest above my breasts. My mother scream and rushed over. I fell. The pain was so unbearable.  Then I heard another gunshot before closing my eyes.
