For me my travels into these different world really helped me master the art of imagination. Cause I could feel how my imagination helped guild me into the travel then soon I'm would loose control of what was happening and it took on a life of its own. The initiation into this in one world is the lease of control in everything your seeing, almost as if you give up control and your mind take over. Don't be fooled but those who down play our imagination, when you take away what it means to have one your left with a very curious gift of perception change, this inclines us to look at world threw eyes we have but on own own minds. People can see threw the same eyes you have on your physical body but there have been many cases of people sharing dreams, perspective shifts and most of all shamanic journey and astral plane visions.
