Rocco POV
Me and Callum were having fun swimming around and laughing and then I see Demi come over out of nowhere and said I needed to get Callum out as there was a shark, I climbed on the board and then I saw a fin behind her and the she is dragged underwater and I see blood, lots of blood and Callum is screaming and crying for Demi.
Jamie came over on another board and took Callum and I didn't care if the shark got me I shoved my hand in and grabs Demi arm and tried to pull her up but she was being pulled down by the shark, all of a sudden the shark swims away and Demi shoots up to the surface and starts looking for Callum. This insane woman doesn't care that she is bleeding badly all she cares about is if Callum is safe.
I pull her up onto the board and start swimming back, I get her on the sand and I see how bad her leg is, it's still intact but she is bleeding loads, it looks like it caught a nerve and vein, I grab a towel and tie it above the bite to hopefully stop the bleeding or reduce it, I look at Demi and tell her she is going to be okay but I am worried.
I then shout at her mum to throw me another towel and some alcohol if we had it preferably vodka. Ocean comes running over saying she antibacterial wipes and passes them to me and she said an ambulance is on it's way. I smile and slowly wipe around the shark wound and then cover it over with the other towel.
We head sirens and then see an ambulance and I worried if they spoke English or if they could understand but it turns out they can. They ask what happened and I explained and they said they need to get her to hospital because they need to either stitch up her leg or remove it but I'm hoping she doesn't lose it.
Her mum told me to go with her and they would get a taxi, I am sat next to her in the back of the ambulance and the paramedics have said she is breathing and doing okay but she has lost a lot of blood and that's why she passed out which isn't rocket science I knew that already. I'm probably being a dick right now but I'm so worried.
We get there and they wheel her away and I am just left waiting which feels like forever, 30 minutes later her family turn up and Callum runs over to me and I pick him up and cuddle him while he cries.
Callum – Aun...auntie Demi die?
Rocco – No monkey! She will be fine!
Callum – But...
Rocco – No buts monkey, she will be fine! She is a fighter!
Callum – Mean shark!
Rocco – Definitely but either we disturbed it or it thought it should test to see what we are.
Callum – But auntie Demi got hurt.
Rocco – I know monkey but it could have been you that go hurt, she saved you.
