Oikawa (Cheating)

Aged up!! Yes, this is two cheating imagines in a row. No, I don't care. Yes, I am sad.

You were getting ready for your performance tonight as you were in a band. Your boyfriend, Oikawa, usually always came to your gigs. He wanted to support you the way you supported him. However, lately he hasn't been showing up. You would constantly find yourself looking for him in the crowd only to be left with unfamiliar faces staring back at you. You knew something was different.

You knew that he wasn't going to show up because he didn't even wish you good luck like he usually did. You decided to go looking for him just to see what's more important than your gigs.

You got in your car and checked his location. He was at Iwaizumi's house which was nothing irregular. He was over there all the time. You just wondered why he would be there instead of with you... again.

You eventually made it to Iwa's house and knocked on the door. Iwa answered the door shirtless.

"Oh, hey y/n. What are you doing here?" he asked.

"I wanted to talk to Tooru," you reply.

"Uh, he's not here," he lied.

"His car is in the driveway Iwa, what the hell are you lying for?"

"I'm sorry y/n," he said as he opened the door for you to walk in. You walk into his house and find Oikawa laying in Iwaizumi's bed with his shirt engulfing his body.

"What's going on?" you ask. Oikawa perks up at this and sees you standing there. Regret fills his eyes.

"I swear y/n, it's not what it looks like. Please trust me," he pleaded.

"How am I supposed to trust you Oikawa? You've been blowing off my gigs for months to get fucked by Iwa, haven't you?"

He looks down avoiding your eyes.

"How long?"

"Two months," he mutters.

"T-two months..." you trail off. Tears start to fill both of your eyes. You push past Iwa and run to your car. Oikawa follows chasing after you.

"Please, y/n, I'm sorry. I'll come to your gig tonight. Please forgive me."

"No."

"What do you mean no?"

"I mean no Oikawa. We're done."

You get in your car and drive off. You get back to your house and break down. You didn't know what Oikawa was doing, but you certainly didn't think he would be cheating on you with Iwa.

After a while of crying, you remember your gig. You clean yourself up and write some lyrics down before leaving your apartment. You weren't intending on singing an original song today, but given the previous events, you needed to let it out somewhere. As you are driving, you realize that you feel more like yourself than ever. Maybe losing Oikawa would be good for you.

You arrive at the small venue you are playing at and set up. You tell the rest of the band that you're trying a new song. They read the lyrics you wrote and make a melody quickly. You set up a stool on stage and sit there with the mic in your hand. The band starts playing a nice melody that fits well with the lyrics you wrote.

'Cause it wasn't yours." You notice that Oikawa stayed true to what he said and is in the front row. You direct your gaze to him and sing.

"I saw the signs and I ignored it

You see Oikawa tearing up at your words. He hasn't heard your singing voice in a while. It's gotten much better since the last time he heard. He also knows that you're directing every single word at him.

In the thick of healing, yeah," you sang a little more aggressively out of the pure anger in your heart. These lyrics are what make Oikawa's tears spill out faster and faster. He knows that what he did was wrong.

You repeated previous lyrics eventually getting to the end of your song,

And now it's goodbye, it's goodbye for us." Oikawa wiped his tears as he stared at you longingly. That's when you notice it: he's still in Iwa's t-shirt. And now Iwa is standing behind him pulling him into an embrace. Seeing this makes your heart ache but you don't let it show. You stay strong to let him know that you don't need him.

"Thank you to everyone that came," you say into the mic. The crowd cheers for you as you get off stage. You collect your money, get in your car, and leave. You hope never to see Oikawa again.
