Would You Mind? [nakano miku x male OC]

chapter 4: first step

*Miku POV*
After school I decided to listen to some music on the school rooftop. I went up to the school rooftop, when I open the door I see a boy. A boy crying and sobbing, that boy was Shizuki san. Why was he crying though? He didn't even come to school this morning. Why is he on the school rooftop. I try calling out his name.

Miku: "Shizuki san?"

He turn to face me with tears still coming out of his eye. When he saw me he quickly wipe away his tears. After he was done wiping away his tears he spoke.

Kenji: "what are you doing here, nakano san?"

Miku: "I was just going to listen to some music on the school rooftop. That's why I come here."

Kenji: "I see. Pardon me for interrupting you then." He say while standing up from his sit.

Miku: "no." I said while grabbing onto his shirt.

Kenji: "eh?"

Miku: "stay here, I want to talk to you more."

I really want to know about him more. Why he was crying earlier. Why he didn't attend class today. Why he didn't talk to anyone. Why he prefers to be alone. I want to know all the reason behind that.

Kenji: "what is it that you want to talk about?" When he said that I release his shirt that I was grabbing.

Miku: "take a sit first Shizuki san"

He sit on the bench beside me.

Miku: "say Shizuki san, why did you cry earlier?"

Kenji: "nothing important, I just remembered something in the past."

I didn't expect a forward answer but this is not what I expected either. His past huh?

Miku: "what did you do that make you cry very hard like that?"

He suddenly stand up and walk away from his seat.

Kenji: "if you just going to ask me about my past or myself I will go. See you tomorrow." He said while walking away to the exit.

Miku: "wait!"

He turn to look at me with a emotionless face. But at the same time it look like a sad face that he's making. Maybe he doesn't want to talk about his past. I should ask him that another time.

Miku: "if you don't want to talk about your past that's fine. I ask you another question." He stop looking at me and go back to the bench he sit earlier.

Kenji: "why do you want to know more about me anyway, nakano san?"

Miku: "because you seem interesting to talk to. You didn't care I sit beside you in class. You didn't even talk to me in class. That's what make me curious about you."

Kenji: "I see. Then forgive me for my bad behavior."

Miku: "it isn't bad but it isn't good either. "

Kenji: "what do you mean?"

Miku: "the way you treat people around you is not wrong. But it's not right either. You should talk to people at least a bit you know."

Kenji: "if you don't know the reason behind it stay out. Don't butt in other people business. You know nothing about me nakano san."

Miku: "at least, can I ask you one more question."

Kenji: "what is it?"

Miku: "why do you prefer to be alone and why didn't you try to talk to anyone?"
