[SURPRISE!]
Cross noticed instantly the moment Dust and Horror slipped away by the fact that only him and Nightmare were the only ones walking down the hall.
"Uh, sir?"
Nightmare doesn't even glance away from the hallway ahead.
"Yes, I'm well aware, Cross. It's their own loss if they get lost."
Cross made a small snort of amusement. Yeah, it would be funny to watch them run around.
"I guess you're right."
Nightmare rolls his eye and opened large dark mahogany doors, making the wooden sound echo down the spacious hallways. It opened up to a larger room, complete with a black obsidian throne and purple cushioning.
"Memorize the way here. You'll be meeting with me here from now on. Its a nuisance to wrangle you all."
Again, he was no babysitter. And as much as he hated to admit it, all of the members of his group had the mentality of toddlers despite in their 20s-30s.
"Tch."
"What was that?"
"Nothing."
"Oh, ok."
Cross wandered around the room, already thinking of good places to stand that allowed him to have full sight of the room while being a bit more obscured.
He found a row of armour stands that intrigued him.
"Huh."
He frowns. They remind him of his old uniform. Now that he thought of it, he wished he still had it. His new ones had so much trauma intertwined in its threads... Almost as if to suffocate him in his own clothes.
He blinked hard, willing the thoughts away. He had more important things to worry about than his wardrobe.
An hour passed and the last two of the group finally arrive, seemingly out of breath.
"Finally! We found you guys!" Horror panted out.
Cross smirks smugly.
"You wouldn't have gotten lost if you didn't decide on taking a detour."
Dust shrugs, walking in.
"You're literally the only Sans alive who isn't lazy. And Boss is, like, 90% goop."
Horror raised a brow.
"Whats the 10%?"
"Pure coffee and mom blogs."
Cross scoffs.
"Dont make fun of him, its still our first day in the castle. You want him to kick you out?"
Dust grins lazily.
"What? Scared he'll hear and scold his lapdog?"
Cross blushed hard, glaring.
"I'm not a lapdog!"
Dust stuck his tongue out.
"Woof."
