Upset

Glancing at her clock by the bedside table, she checked the time. It read 4am. Knowing she couldn't go back to sleep anymore, she then decided to start her day earlier.

Getting up, she changed from her sleep wear to gym clothes. She figured since she's still upset, she'll use the time to blow off some steam.

She gathered her things then went to the gym that the condominium caters as part of the utilities. She hasn't visited the gym for awhile now because of the busy schedule.

When she reached her destination, she immediately started her routine. Warming up with some stretches, then proceeded to the treadmill.

After exercising, she went to shower and freshen up. While going back up to her unit, she checks her phone for some emails needed to be answered.

She contacted her assistant to ask for her schedule for the day. After some further instructions, she was about to take her phone away when it rang.

She looked at the caller ID. Realizing who it it, she heaved a deep sigh. Then she answered. "Hello. What do you want?",she asked rather harshly.

"Rae.",the man on the other line said. His tone serious and means business.
Raven didn't respond. "Father wants to talk to you. You both have to discuss this matter." "No.",she said defiantly. Already knowing what matter is being talked about.

"I am not asking, Raven." Gone was her playful older brother. Him not calling her by his nickname for her is saying something. He is really serious.
This is really serious.

She sighed for the nth time. She hesitantly agreed. "Fine." Then she hang up. She'll just try to remember to contact him later. She's still upset with them.

With her new found fury, she used this to fuel her energy further more. She headed back to start and face the day head on.
