"I'm sorry..." Noah whispered then his breathing was steadied. He must have fallen asleep. The smell of alcohol stung my noise when he said those words. He must have been tending his wounds and stupidity with whiskey again.
God, he's 24 but acts like 42.
I wiggle to get out of his hold. Thank the heavens he was out like a light and his arms loosen around my waist. I got up and headed to the living room to sleep. There was no way in hell he gets to drink, say sorry and forget everything. He just acted all barbarian and alpha male on me. For no fucking reason. He didn't even bother to come up and talk it out. Communication is always fucking key in any relationship. But he didn't. He even yelled at me for slamming the door. I mean excuse me you were the one being the asshole and picking a fight for no apparent reason. He just went to drink and hoping all his problems will just resolve on its own.
I curled myself up into a ball, fighting the tears that threatened to spill. I wouldn't cry because of this. It was his fault. But this is our first fight as a couple and since we've lived together. I'm just afraid that if every time we fight and we end up like this: him drinking, me crying and sulking, just how much longer would we last together. I sigh and hugged the blanket closer to me as I slept on the couch. I hoped that when both of us wake up tomorrow, we, I mean Noah because he started this unnecessary fight, would solve this mess.
"Baby.." Someone nudged me. I just ignored them. Hoping that if I didn't answer they would leave me alone.
"Baby.." That person nudged me again. I groan.
"Aurelia.." It was Noah. I slowly opened my eyes, trying to adjust to the brightness of the living room. I rubbed my eyes to get the sleep off and looked at Noah. He looked like shit. His eyes blood shot and there were bags underneath. He had his bed hair which was cute but I needed to shoved that thought at the back of my head because right now I'm mad at him for yesterday and for waking me up.
"What?" I said, pissed off.
"You weren't in bed when I woke up." He stated.
"I was here as you can see." I gestured to the couch.
"Why?" He asked. The audacity.
"I like the couch." I simply replied.
"Aurelia."
"What?" I said, annoyed.
"Let's talk." He said sternly. His mood had a 180 change right now.
"Okay. Talk then. I'm listening." I challenged.
"I'm sorry for the way I acted yesterday." He apologized and paused.
"That's it?" And I thought he would have more to say.
"No... I'm not finished.." Noah looked a little bit uncomfortable and nervous. Well, I could understand he was standing and I was sitting down.
"Well, continue, we don't have all day." I pestered.
"Jesus, Aurelia, can you drop the attitude?" He groaned.
"Attitude? Me dropping my attitude? What on earth do you mean? There is no attitude here." I said, faking my shock.
"Aurelia, I'm really sorry for the way I acted yesterday. I know you hate it when I do all that possessive, alpha male shit. Baby, I'm really sorry." He sighed. "But I also know that sorry is not gonna cut it. I should've talk yesterday with you instead of drinking. I'm really sorry. Please don't be mad." He pouted.
I stared at him, thinking what to say next.
"Baby.." He pleaded.
"Alright, I forgive you." I said.
There was a smile on his face like a little kid who just heard from his parents that he can go out and play.
"But -" I added.
The smile dropped.
"You should really just talk to me next time. You shouldn't have gone to drink and waited the next day, Noah. Is something wrong? I know you know I hate it when you go all 'CEO demanding' on me. What happened?" I asked with concern.
"It's nothing, baby. The stress at work really got to me." He said. I looked into his eyes and could tell he was telling the truth. Either that or he was a great liar. But I chose to believe him anyway.
"Is everything okay at the company?" I asked.
"Just some employees couldn't reach the target set for this month. And it's getting me all stressed out. You know how I like my targets to reach. Why set a goal if you can't reach it?" He shrugged nonchalantly.
"C'mere." I opened my arms for him to come. He did.
"You're doing great baby. The BOD loves you. I have no doubt that you're going to bring up my father's company better than he did." I ruffled his hair and kissed it.
"Thanks, Lia." He tighten his arms around me.
"Come lie down with me." I offered. I opened up the blanket that was covering my legs and shifted to make room for him. We both faced each other, just staring at each other, remembering every detail. I slowly wiggled down into his chest and inhaled his scent.
Gosh, I could get high from his scent.
"Noah?"
"Yes, Lia?" He was twirling my hair on his fingers.
"What happened to your parents?" He stopped twirling and looked down at me as I felt his chin touch my head. I noticed and I said, "Sorry, I was just curious. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
"No, it's fine. They passed away in a car accident." Noah said.
"How old were you?"
"I was eight. I was in school when it happened. My dad took my mum out on a date because he rarely had off days." He explained.
I could imagine a little Noah crying next to his mother's coffin. He was so young.
"Who took you in?" I asked.
"My uncle. I even worked for him for a little while until last year and left to venture on my own." Noah tensed but he still answered.
"Do you still see him?"
"No. He's in Seoul and barely comes here." He relaxed slightly.
I got up on my elbow and kissed his lips. It was a slow and soft kiss. It was meant to be comforting. A comfort kiss. Telling him that I'm here for him. Noah returned it. Soon our small and innocent kiss turned into something full of passion. His hands were in my hair and mine were on his chest. He brought me up on his lap and he sat up a bit so now I was straddling him. Not once did we break the kiss. Noah's tongue brushed my lower lip, asking for entrance and I gave it to him. Our tongues danced earning a moan from me. Slowly, Noah began to leave a trail of kisses from my jaw down toward my neck.
He began nibbling on my earlobe which just left me in a moaning mess. He then reach my sweet spot and bit it harshly but the pleasure was overpowering the pain. My hands now moved to his hair and to his back, touching him. His hands were at the hem of my shirt and he slowly slid into them, he was caressing my stomach while attacking my sweet spot. He slowly pulled back and left me whimpering. He looked at me with eyes full of lust, I'm sure mine were the same.
"Noah..." I begged.
"Baby, I want to make you feel good." He said in a low husking voice.
God that just made my lady bits do a little dance.
I was stunned and just looked at him and slightly nodded.
