Shinichi opens his eyes. He was lying down on the bed, he gets up and went downstairs. He went to Kaito's room.
"Hey Shinichi!" Kaito smiled.
"Where's Shiho?" He asked.
"You two are sharing a room right?" Kaito looks confused.
"She injected sleeping pill on me last night and..." he stopped.
"When I fetched on work she looks scared.I know she can feel a bo member is watching her around." He said.
"Text me when she comes home I'll find her." Shinichi left his room.
He asked to borrow Mary's car he said he'll buy something as an excuse. Shinichi went in possible places she might be at but he failed. His phone ring and Thomas Wright—their client is calling him. He answered it.
"Meet me today." Thomas command.
"I'm doing something important right now. If it's about the case you can contact Kaito about it." He said.
"But I wanted to talk to you." He said.
Shinichi sighed.
"Fine." He said.
Shinichi ended the call and calls Kaito.
"Hey Shinichi! Shiho is here." He said.
Shinichi feels relieved.
"Don't let her go. Tell her to stay in the house and wait for me."
"But Shini—"
Shinichi ended the call and went on his way to Thomas's house. He knocks on the door and waiting for Thomas to open it. After few seconds the door was open. Thomas smiled.
"Come in." Thomas said.
Shinichi went inside the house. Thomas walks and brings him in the living room.
"Feel yourself at home." He said.
Shinichi sits down on the couch.
Thomas walks out and Shinichi is looking around. Then Thomas comes back with a tray of different alcoholic drinks. Shinichi looks at him placing it on the table.
"You call me to stopped by here just to drink?" Shinichi asked.
Thomas laughs.
"Sorry, but I heard that you're a heavy drinker so why not join me right?" He smiled.
"C'mon this will be the first and last I'll ask you to drink ok?" He said.
Shinichi sighed.
They started to drink. Thomas shared stories about his life problems, love life, and other things. It's getting late now but they still didn't stop drinking. They talk about nonsense things and laughed. And then Thomas decided to change the topic.
"So how are you, Detective?" He asked.
"I'm not really doing good." Shinichi coldly said.
