The next day almost everybody ignored me, because I lost them 50 points. The only one who was still talking to me from my house was Lisa. She thought that what I did was cool and badass. In the morning, when we ate our breakfast, I had got a note. I noticed that Harry, Hermione and Neville got one too.
"Your detention will take place at eleven o'clock tonight.
Meet Mr. Filch in the entrance hall."
"What's in the note?" Lisa asked.
"I have detention tonight." I said with a grumpy face.
"O no! Now our plan to go to the Gryffindors is ruined!" Lisa said in a dramatic voice, but I soon realized it was sarcastic. I glanced at her.
"Sorry..." Lisa said. "The good thing is that you have detention with the in and only Neville Longbottom.". She looked somewhere and I turned to look where she was looking at. I saw Neville sitting there with a scared face. I looked back and gave Lisa a death stare.
"Sorry, miss grumpy! I was just only trying to cheer you up!" she said. We laughed.
That night I walked to the entrance hall. Neville, Hermione, and Harry were already there. And so we're Filch and Draco. I forgot that Draco had detention too.
"Follow me." Filch said. "I bet you'll think twice about breaking a school rule again, won't you?. Everyone looked at each other. "O yes! Hard work and pain are the best teachers, if you ask me! It's a pity they let the old punishments die out. Hang you by your wrists from the ceiling for a few days. I've got the chains still in my office, keep them well oiled in case they're ever needed." I'm telling you, this man is a sociopath.
"Right, off er go! And don't think of running off, now, it'll be worse for you, if you do!" Filch said. I knew that Filch was creepy, but I didn't knew that he was THIS creepy. We walked to Hargid's hut.
"Is that you, Filch? Hurry up, I want ter get started." Hagrid said. It was relieved to see Hagrid. Hagrid wouldn't let us doing something really dangerous.
Apparently Filch noticed the relief and said: "I suppose you think you'll be enjoying yourself with that oaf? Well, think again! It's into the forest you're going and I'm much mistaken if you'll all come out in one piece!". I heard Neville gasp.
"The forest? We can't go in there at night! There's all sorts of things in there.. Werewolves, I heard!" Draco said, scared to death.
"Should've thought of them werewolves before you got in trouble, shouldn't you?" Hagrid said. "I bin waitin' fer half an hour already. All right, Harry, Hermione?".
"I shouldn't be too friendly to them, Hagrid! They're here to be punished, after all." Filch said. "I'll be back at dawn.. for what's left of them.". Draco look like was having a full on panic. He said all kinds of things about why they should not going in the forest.
After Draco finished, Hagrid continued: "Right then, now, listen carefully, 'cause it's dangerous what we're gonna do tonight, an' I don' want no one takin' risks. Follow me over here a moment.". Here we go.
We went in the forest. The forest was dark and creepy.
"Look there!" Hagrid suddenly said. "See that stuff shinin' on the ground? Silvery stuff? That unicorn blood. There's a unicorn in there him hurt badly by summation. This is the second time in a week. I found one dead last Wednesday. Were gonna try an' find the poor thing. We might have ter put it out of its misery."
"And what if whatever hurt the unicorn finds us first?" Draco said.
"There's nothin' that lives in the forest that'll hurt yeh if yer with me or Fang! An' keep ter the path. Right, now, we're gonna split inter two parties an' follow the trail in diff'rent directions. There's blood all over the place, it must've bin staggerin' around since last night at least.".
