The weekend soon approached and I planned on just staying in. After all the stress this week has caused me with work and Ryder, I honestly needed a break.

I threw on some comfy clothing after my bath and cuddled into the covers of my king sized bed. I lived in a large modern apartment that overlooked London.

I liked it in the city. The noise, the culture. It was always moving and revolving.

Y/n and Draco lived together in a nice beach house about a half hour away from here and Blaise and Luna lived in a nice house in the woods about 40 minutes away.

I liked that we were all relatively close together. If we had been separated farther, I may have just lost my mind.

I turned on some muggle films as I got comfortable, preparing for a movie marathon when an owl appeared at my window.

Y/n's owl, Silver.

I slowly got out of bed as I groaned, hoping to have a relaxing evening and opened the window.

"This better be good," I laughed as I took the letter from Silver's beak and closed the window once again, walking back to my bed.

I sat down and opened the letter carefully and smiled when I read it.

Dear Jade,

Hey girl! We're all hanging out here for some drinks and you should totally come!

Also, I know you're probably in bed right now, so get your ass up right now and apparate here.

Love, Y/n

I laughed as I closed the letter and walked over to my closet.

I decided on some jeans, a cute jacket, and a nice pair of boots before going into the bathroom to put on a bit of light makeup.

After about twenty minutes of getting ready, I gathered my things and apparated to Y/n and Draco's house.

The sound of the waves crashing as the moonlight shined down on them always made me smile and I wished that one day I would own a beautiful house like this with the love of my life.

As I entered, I was immediately greeted by Y/n and Luna running up to me and hugging me tightly.

"You came!" Y/n squealed as she released me, allowing me to breath again.

"Sure did," I smirked as I walked further into her home, "Now where's the drinks I was promised?"

"Over here," Luna laughed as she led me towards the kitchen and poured me a margarita.

We talked about Y/n's engagement and Luna and Blaise's married life for a while. I didn't really mind, but sometimes it just made me feel awkward.

They both had so much going for them and all I had was my job.

"Lets go see what the boys are up to," Y/n suggested and we all nodded in agreement, heading downstairs to the basement that had a whole living room in it.

I tried to hide my shocked expression as I saw Draco, Blaise, and Ryder all sitting on the couches looking at us.

Ryder's surprised expression matched mine and I quickly shook it away, wanting to have a normal night having fun with my friends.

I took a giant sip of my drink, knowing I'd need it as I sat down on one of the sofas, joining everyone else to watch the quidditch game on the screen.
