The next morning came too quickly and along with that came the first day of the winter solstice. Corinna woke up feeling grumpy, maybe it was because she knew that it would soon be cold and icy on Altre and she wasn't a fan of the cold.
"Your highness?" she heard a airy voice call from the door.
"Yes, Lola?"

Corinna watched the handmaiden enter in a moment. Lola didn't skip a beat rushing to the closet to find a new dress for Corinna to wear.
"I can find something to wear myself..." Corinna grumbled. Lola looked over her shoulder and gave her a snarky look.
"I've been dressing you since you were five...I know you cannot." Lola teased with a chuckled while Corinna sat there with her mouth agape.

Lola pulled a long light blue dress with lots of tulle and a corset like top. Gold decals rested at the shoulders that served as a tie for the sleeves.
"How about this one today?" Lola held it up to her body for Corinna to admire it.
"Stunning."

The handmaiden smiled before placing it on the foot of the bed for Corinna.
"When you're done head down for breakfast."
"Yes, ma'am." Corinna chuckled.

The long blue dress flowed behind Corinna as she strolled down to the dining hall. Her steps were hasty because she was nearly starving.
"Good morning dear." her mother said when she entered the dining room. The room had dark brownish, red walls and a very large fire place behind the table. The windows surrounded the room to bring in natural light, something her family adored.

A long brown table was placed directly in the middle with matching chairs around it. Anakin and Obi-wan stand side-by-side while they ate. Corinna's parents sat on the ends of the table respectively.
"Good morning all." Corinna took her seat across from Anakin who was already almost finished with his meal. He smiled at Corinna as she sat, his foot slightly grazing hers.

Another handmaiden brought out a plate for Corinna and placed it in front of her.
"Thank you." she uttered before grasping her fork. She picked at some fruit before digging into her meal.
"Have you discovered anything new about my attacker?" Corinna spoke up, directing her attention to Obi-wan and her father.
"Not yet, we only discussed a plan of action and where we would start." the King answered.
"Well, the attacker had one of those...y'know...light swords you Jedi carry...but red." Corinna stammered quickly, trying to think back on that night.

Obi-wan and Anakin's attention peeked, they both glared at Corinna before turning to one another.
"A Sith?"
"A what?" Corinna's eyebrows furrowed.
"A Sith Lord is someone who uses the dark side of the force. They are very dangerous." Obi-wan informed the princess, who only continued to be confused. She had no idea what the force was or what really any of this information meant.
"What does a Sith Lord want with my daughter?" the Queen asked the Jedi.

Corinna could feel the anxiety rise in the room. Her own heart rate picking up as the conversation continued. It was one thing to have a bounty hunter attack you, but it was another to have the Sith want you dead.
"So does this mean I'm a goner?"

Anakin looked at the princess, he could see the fear on her face. How terrified she was that her life was at risk.
"No, we will find this Sith Lord and take care of it. I promise you." Anakin said as he made eye contact with her. Her big eyes looked at him softly. He could feel Obi-wan's eyes burn into the side of his head. Maybe it was because he promised Corinna they would find this man when there was a chance that they wouldn't succeed.
"Thank you, both of you."

Silence surrounded them for a moment, only the sound of silverware clinking.
"What are your plans for the day dear?" the Queen asked as she finished her breakfast.
"I have some business in town." Corinna informed everyone as a handmaiden quickly picked up all of the dishes.
"Wonderful, Mr. Skywalker can accompany you." her father boasted. Corinna nodded, wanting Anakin to accompany her more than ever since she was in more danger than she thought.
"Yes sir. Anakin, whenever you're ready." she grumbled, seeming to be upset over the fact that she would have a babysitter for awhile. Corinna rose from her seat and left the dining hall, not even waiting for Anakin to follow.
