~ 3rd POV ~

Kokichi woke up to his alarm going off. that was normal. but, the way he felt wasn't. he felt, happy? It was as if he was excited for something that was happening, but he didn't know what. He pushed off the feeling and got ready for school, putting on his uniform, brushing out his hair, brushing his teeth, stuff like that. Soon Ouma was ready to go, he walked down the stairs of his house and saw his mother Mikan and sister Kotoko at the table eating breakfast.

" O-Oh! morning Kokichi! " Mikan said as she smiled to her adopted son.

" Hey mom, " Kokichi said as he walked over to her and his sister.

" Morning! " Kotoko smiled to her brother. They got in arguments a lot but as long as they didn't have anything to fight about they were nice enough to each other. Kotoko was really the only person Kokichi would often get mad enough with to raise his voice, which besides that he rarely did. But hey, what are sisters for?

" Morning, " kokichi said as he grabbed a water bottle from the fridge, " Whens mom coming home? " He was referring to Ibuki, his other mom, that was currently on a tour.

" S-soon! " Mikan smiled as she picked up her and Kotoko's plates.

" Nice. Love you mom, " Kokichi said as he left the house.

" B-Bye! have a good day at school, " Mikan said.

Kokichi approached the larger building that was his school and quickly went to his locker. he opened it up and grabbed his stuff, then closed it and put the lock back on. he saw Kaito and Kaede walk down the hall so he decided to take the long way to class so he could try to avoid them.

He walked up to his class door and walked in and sat down at his desk. around the class room were the friend groups of his class, but there was also some new kid sitting alone. But that didn't last for long since Miu walked over to him.

Kokichi blocked out the noise from the class and let his playlist play through his headphones for the few minutes he had before class started, the bell would be loud enough so that he heard it, so it was fine.

After a song and a half the loud bell rang throughout the school, and he took off his headphones and put his phone in his pocket.

" Alright Alright, everyone sit down! " The teacher said. She started talking about something but kokichi blocked her out. It wasn't like He would want to answer anything, so he didn't care to listen.

" Ouma, Ouma! " The teacher said, causing kokichi to pay attention.

" Y-yes? " he asked.

" Will you give our new student a tour during lunch? " The teacher asked.

" S-sure! " he said, not wanting to seem rude. maybe this new guy wouldn't hate him, so he tried to be nice. The teacher thanked him and had the new student sit next to Kokichi.

the next 3 periods went by fast and soon it was time for him to give the guy a tour. he was given the others schedule so he would know which classes were his and know where to show him stuff. Kokichi read over the paper, like he had before.
