"Ms. Endorsi..."
"I heard that you were trying to persuade the others to team up with you and Sunna." Endorsi said, walking towards Baam. "...But do you really think that will happen? They made it all this way...and now you want them to take the last test with a cripple?
Baam flinched.
"...Who would do such a crazy thing?" Endorsi scoffed.
"Ms. Endorsi!"

...
Baam didn't like to admit it...but Sunna was right.
The uncomfortable truth was that the wounded were usually seen as a burden.
If only they knew how good of a person she is...
"Baam."
But then again...
"Hey, pretty boy."
if everyone knew...
"...Baam!"
"...Huh?"
"Pay attention, Baam," Endorsi sighed, rubbing a hand over her pretty face, "...I swear, it's like you don't appreciate my help at all."
"That- that's not true at all!" Baam gasped, snapping out of it, "...I really appreciate all you've done for me so far."
"...Hmph, you better be," Endorsi said smugly, a smirk tugging at her lips, "It's not everyday you get to train with a princess of Zahard."
Baam gave an awkward laugh.
...While Ms. Endorsi may initially seem somewhat ruthless...I don't think that's all there is to her.
...She did team up with us in the end after all.
"...You know...I still don't get it," Endorsi began, in an uncharacteristically hesitant tone, "...the reason you're so obsessed with her."
"...While I did feel there was something strange about her when I first met her," She continued, pursing her shapely lips, "I'm not sure how to describe it...but if I had to...Well, I guess she was like a stranger from another world...if that makes any sense to you."
Baam knew the feeling all too well.
"...But then again, for being an irregular, she's surprisingly normal." Endorsi finished in a haughty tone. "...The only thing that really stands out is her gloomy personality."
"What- why do you say that?" Baam asked, somewhat defensively.
"...Your little girlfriend hasn't left her room in days." Endorsi replied, stating the obvious.
"You- what do you mean 'girlfriend'!" Baam exclaimed, a blush rising to his cheeks, "...Sunna and I aren't like that."
...Right?
"...Sure bud, whatever you say." Endorsi replied, not sounding the least bit convinced.
"...I'm being serious. You're just misunderstanding it all..." Baam stated, trying and failing to sound confident, "...You're also wrong about Sunna being gloomy."
Endorsi snorted.
"...She's just feeling a little blue at the moment..." Baam continued, acting as if he hadn't heard her.
"She's just moping around." Endorsi stated, causing him to flinch. "...It's pathetic, really."
"Now shut your pretty mouth and come at me with all you've got." Endorsi all but ordered, ignoring Baam's protests.
Baam took a long deep breath, trying and somewhat succeeding in calming himself down.
She's just saying that because she doesn't know better...
He exhaled slowly before rushing towards Endorsi.
I'll aim for her right shoulder this time.
Before he could land a punch, however, Endorsi had sidestepped him, causing him to stumble forwards. He hit the ground with a thud.
"...Ouch."
"...Your face gives you away, you know." Endorsi commented absently, offering her hand. "It's obvious where you're aiming."
"...Ah, I see." Baam replied, feeling awkward.
Are my thoughts really that obvious?
Endorsi grinned, "You should be careful about that, you know...wearing your heart on your sleeve, that is."
Baam's heart skipped a beat.
"...You never know when it'll come back to bite you." She finished, winking at him.
Baam gulped nervously, nodding his head.
