"...Well, I guess I'll see you later then."

"Yes...you and Baam." Khun nodded slowly, a peculiar look on his face.

"...Wow."

"What?" Khun asked with a hint of impatience. His voice sounded oddly strained.

"You really have a knack for saying ominous things..."

"..." Khun took a deep breath, closing his eyes.

"Why, you're making it sound like something bad is going to happen."

"...I'm just worried about Baam. He's too selfless." Khun replied at last, letting out an exasperated sigh.

"...Wow, I'm almost offended."

"I just don't like the idea of Baam sacrificing himself to save you." Khun said, giving me a look.

"...You're really breaking my heart here."

Khun snorted, the corners of his mouth curving upwards at last.

"...Prick."

"...Just make sure Baam doesn't do anything stupid." Khun half ordered, his voice once again growing sober.

...

Something's not right. Khun thought to himself, a frown marring his striking features.

While it wasn't unusual for Sunna to act like an insufferable jokester, constantly striving to make 'witty' remarks...Something felt off this time around.

It almost seemed rehearsed, deliberate...

"...A penny for your thoughts?" A somewhat amused voice said from behind him, making him flinch.

?!

"Who are you?!" Khun shouted, jumping backwards and away from the intruder.

The stranger chuckled, ignoring his question. "Now, now...There's no need to act all tough."

Khun scowled at him defiantly, taking in his appearance.

...I don't like this one bit.

"Now, let me borrow your lighthouse for a moment." The stranger said, taking up his console.

"...Well, I'll be going then," Hachuling announced, waving Khun off "Oh, and by the way, thank you for your lighthouse."

"!!"

"Wait!" Khun cried out, something akin to desperation in his voice.

Hachuling halted midstep before turning back towards him, "...hmm?"

"...Just like that, you're leaving?" Khun asked, his voice somewhat steadier.

"...Yes?" Hachuling replied, giving him a slightly confused look.

"...You know...The way I see it, you owe me a favour." Khun stated, growing more confident, "...It's my lighthouse after all."

"...You're a cheeky bastard, aren't you?" Hachuling hummed, a twinkle of amusement in his eyes.

"You're one to talk..." Khun replied without hesitation.

Hachuling laughed.

"...A cheeky bastard indeed." He continued, amusement now lacing his voice, "...Fine, I'll do you a favour...as long as it's reasonable, that is."

Khun gulped quietly, relief pulsing in his veins.

"Thanks...So, how far exactly can you see with that console of yours?"

"...Well, how 'far' exactly are you thinking?" Hachuling replied with a gleam in his eye.

...

"...Hey," Hachuling began, feeling disturbed, "...Who exactly did you say your friend was?"

...That's the same person as the one in the painting with 'father'...

Khun turned to look at him "...You know something, don't you?"
