A week later.
Tommy's POV"Monaghan Boy wants you," Arthur says, walking into my office. "I'm busy," I grumble, writing.
"We're mourning as well Tom."
"Fuck off," I huff.
"You haven't visited her once Tom! All she's fucking doing is asking for you! You can't just keep sending us up to check on you. She won't tell us shit cause she wants to speak to you!" Arthur yells at me.
"I'm going, out of my house," I demand, picking up my coat and cap.

"I'm so sorry," she sobs once I enter the room. "You have nothing to apologise for sweetheart. It wasn't your fault," I softly say, taking ahold of her hand.
I brush the hair out of her face and kiss her cheek, not letting go of her hand. My tear stained wife slowly wipes her tears and takes a few deep breathes before shuffling to sit up.
"I'm sorry I didn't come sooner," I sigh, dragging a chair close to the bed with my foot.
"I understand, you deal with things your own way," she whispers.
"How's your shoulder?" I ask.
"It's okay, I get let out today anyways." She quietly replies. "How's Comet?"
"He's wondering where you are, he keeps looking at your spot on the sofa and he'll look at the spot you stand when you let him outside," I truthfully tell her.
"Well I'm coming home today so he won't have to wonder any longer," she lightly smiles.
"I brought you some clothes," Jane says, entering the hospital room. "Thank you," Evie slightly smiles.
"You should've been here sooner Tommy," Jane says, disappointment lacing her words. "He's here now and that's what matters," Evie butts in, defending me.
"What's you do the the necklace?" Jane asks me. "Buried it in an enemies pub," I tell her, making Evie giggle.

"Tommy! Can we go to a bakery now I'm all clean?" Evie asks, coming into my office with Comet in tow. "Which one?" I ask.
"I know which one, but I can't remember what it's called," she says, making me smile. "Course we can, are we taking the horses or the car?" I ask her, getting up.
"The horses cause Comet isn't leaving me alone, he waited outside the bathroom for me. We can have somebody stand with them while we're outside," she says as we begin to walk to the stables.
"Will you need help up?" I ask her, getting all the tack out.
"I will, I can't lift my arm that much yet," she sighs.
I quickly tack up both horses then turn to see Evie putting Comet's collar on. "Up you go," I say, lifting her up once his collar is on.
"He's excited," she giggles as Comet begins to tap his feet and smile at us.
