nini squeezed her eyes shut to block the sunlight streaming in from her windows. she stretches her arms above her head and lets out a loud yawn. looking at her clock, she realizes she slept in longer than she wanted.
she quickly got out of bed and put on slippers, opening her door and peeking out to see what was going on. her moms were on the couch, sipping coffee and watching whatever was playing on the tv, while parker and jane were in the kitchen making breakfast. she makes her way into the living room, and sits down between her moms.
they pull her into a hug before turning back to the tv. jane takes notice of her sisters presence and runs over to her, pulling her up and dragging her to the kitchen to help with breakfast.
the morning goes by fast, they opened presents and ate breakfast. after breakfast they watched hallmark movies, a tradition they've had since nini was a little girl. before she knew it, nini had the house to herself.
her moms were at the store and jane went to her apartment with parker to drop off some of the stuff they received. nini sat on that couch in her pajamas, watching home alone and snacking on leftover desserts from last nights dinner.
she has about four hours before the bowens arrive, so she was taking this time to prepare herself in any way possible. carlos and kourtney convinced nini to facetime them so they can help with her makeup, and seb wanted to say hi. he had just arrived in new york from los angeles, staying in carlos's apartment for the duration of his visit.
kourtney was still in new york as well, however she stayed in her own apartment because her mom had come to visit.
an hour later, the movie credits rolled so nini got up and entered her room, figuring she should start picking out outfits. she quickly texts the group chat, confirming the time for their facetime then shuffles her taylor swift playlist and walks over to her closet.
