"Hey, Logan? Do you mind walking me home?" Emile asked, smiling. The taller boy looked outside, noting how dark it was. Almost everyone in school knew that Emile hated the dark, and some people even teased him about it. It wasn't his fault that the school lights had gone out during lesson time and he burst into tears, right?

"I do not mind." He replied, pushing his glasses up so they didn't fall. Squealing, Emile grabbed his bag and started walking towards the door,to which Logan sighed softly and followed.

The two boys had been walking for about twenty minutes, talking about whatever came to mind (it was more of a one-sided conversation) and discussing the book club. When Logan saw the time, and realised how far they had walked, he sighed.

"I will not get back home until very late." He mumbled to himself. Emile heard, and smiled.

"You can sleep over at mine, if ya want! And then we can walk to school together tomorrow!" He exclaimed. Logan stayed silent for a few moments, thinking.

"I suppose that would be adequate. Thank you, Emile."

"It's no biggie," Emile said, smiling. "But, you can call me Emi." Logan blinked before nodding.

"Alright, Emi."

Sorry that this chapter is short, I didn't know how to execute it  properly. I'll hopefully post another chapter today to make up for it. And, I'll try to actually stick to my schedule this time. I'm thinking of posting every Saturday and Monday, but it'll probably vary. Thanks for understanding!
