As Hennessy leaves James' office, those few moments they spent in each other's arms felt like lifetimes. It seemed to be on loop replaying in her head. She really started to question what her purpose was here. Finally she reaches Rhiannon's office again.
"Hey roomie!" Rhiannon says as she sees Hennessy walk in. "I'm so excited I've never had a roommate or a sister so it'll be so fun."
"Wow things spread like fire around here. Not going to lie, I'm a bit nervous about everything." Hennessy says as she sits down.
"Why's that? I know it's all overwhelming at first but you'll get used to it. And haha tell me about it, you've been here for less than 24 hours and everyone knows who you are." Rhiannon laughs.
Hennessy looks around the room some more. She notices a picture on Rhiannon's desk that she notices in James' office too.

"Oh you noticed the picture. haha yeah everyone has that on their desk. It's not everyone who works here but the people who have been here the longest and the higher ups." Rhiannon explains as she catches Hennessy looking at the group picture.
"Why did everyone sign it?" Hennessy laughs while trying to see if she recognizes anyone
"It's sort of like a yearbook haha. I'm not sure why we signed it, we just thought it would be cool to autograph something." Rhiannon clarified

Hours go by and it's now dark outside. Rhiannon and Hennessy begin to walk home. Even though everyone lives in the same building everybody keeps to themselves. The girls arrive at Rhiannon's large apartment. Her apartment seemed to be small when first walking in but turned out to be pretty big. Once you walked in, the living room was to the right and the kitchen was to the left. In front and passed the living room were four doors. Door one on the far right was the guest, soon to be Hennessey's, room. Next to that was a closet and bathroom. Then on the far right was Rhiannon's room.
"This is what the majority of the pads look like in the complex. I'll show you your room, feel free to make yourself at home." Rhiannon puts her keys and black purse down on the counter then proceeds to show Hennessy her room.
The room was decorated in a complete cottage core aesthetic. "It's my dream to one day live in a small cottage with my animals and grow my own food." Rhiannon says while smiling.
Hennessy is mesmerized by how cool and cozy the room looks. She couldn't believe this was her room. The best part was it was her own room that she wouldn't have to share with anyone else. "Rhi this is amazing. I love it. Thank you for letting me stay here. Oh haha I got a roommate." She bent down to pet the cat at her feet.
"Oh don't mind her, she thinks this is her room. This is sunny. I can take her if she's in the way." Rhiannon laughs while pointing to the cat on the bed.
"No no she's fine!" She says in excitement. Her voice trails off and she says softly. "Hi sunny i'm Hennessy." Hennessy was never allowed to have a cat while living with Mike. The reason was simply that he said no. Growing up they never had animals in the houses either. Frankly because the house environment was too toxic.
"I'll leave you to get acquainted in your new room. If you need anything just holler I'll be in the kitchen." Rhiannon says while taking sunny and closing the door.

The next morning rolls around and it's just another normal day. As Hennessy wakes up she hears birds outside on the fire escape singing a beautiful song. She still hasn't processed what this new beginning is in her life but she is taking it day by day.
"Good morning sunshine!" Rhiannon exclaims while pouring coffee into a cup.
"Hey girl good morning, what's the plan for today?" Hennessy asks while rubbing her eyes.
"Well I gots to go into the office. I promised Joe I'd help him in the lab. Have you met him yet? Probably not. I don't think cappo would be too happy if I just left you here so you can come with me." Rhiannon replies while drinking her coffee.
"Oh um alright this should be interesting." She laughs while sitting down at the counter.
Rhiannon chuckled. "Yeah it'll be fun then we can go shopping after or whatever i'll lend you some clothes for now."
"Thank you so much, kisses haha." Hennessy says in gratitude.

As they arrive it's the same busy hustle as when Hennessy arrived for the first time yesterday. Instead of going to her office they go directly to the hallway that leads to the basement.
As the girls entered the lab Joe announced with his back turned "So you must be the famous Hennessy I'm hearing about."
Hennessy stopped in confusion and asked "How did you know it was me?"
Joe turns around to greet the girls. "When you work here you always have to be aware and have eyes in the back of your head. Anyways what's up I'm Joe."
Rhiannon walked over to the giant monitor and started observing files. "What's the final twenty of all the hitmen who were at the club?"
"Thankfully everyone is recovered now. No one got hurt this time which is good but we are still at risk for after shock." Joe explains as he walks back to the computers.
At this time Hennessy had walked up behind them to also view the files. "What's aftershock?" She asked in a nervous tone.
Rhiannon and Joe, both startled, replied "It's the time after a heist where the enemy takes their revenge. It's an average of a week and we are all on edge."
There seemed to be a million files on the huge computers that looked like it was taking up the entire wall. Every person who was in the family had their own file with any and all their information. As Hennessy looked closer she could see she too had a file.
