Liam's POV
A sharp pain from my lower abdomen wakes me from my first peaceful sleep in what feels like eight months. Confused I put a hand on my belly feeling the muscles tighten as another sharp pain hits bringing tears to my eyes. I move my hand down to my belly and I rub it as another pain shoots though it. As my counciousness comes to I realize my pants are wet and so are the sheets beneath me. My water has broken. I grab Louis' shoulder frantically trying to wake him from his sleep beside me as I feel another contraction run through me. The contractions are already extremly close and the pressure I am feeling down below is telling me these babies are not waiting.
"Louis, wake up, Louis!" I shout at him continuing to shake his shoulder as tears begin to run down my cheeks from the pain and fear of having to give birth here on the tour bus without any medical person.
"What? Li, it's two in the morning, what's wrong?" Louis asks sitting up annoyed at being awkoken.
"Louis, I'm going into labor. I don't think these babies are going to wait either. The contractions are already really close and my water has broken," I tell him as I double over clutching my tummy as another contraction hits.
"Shit, okay stay here. I'll be right back," Louis tells me sliding out of bed leaving me there hunched over and gasping for air the pressure in my lower abdomen is building and I know one of the babies it getting ready to be born in a matter of a couple of minutes. "Get up and help me! Liam is in labor!" Louis yells at the boys pulling them out of their bunks as he makes his way up front to where Paul is driving.
I cry out in pain as another extremly painful contraction hits. Harry apears at my side and grabs my hand.
"Liam, how far apart are the contractions?" Harry asks rubbing my back as Zayn and Niall watch on wide eyed.
"Minutes, Harry I can already feel one of the babies making his way out," I admit before another contraction hits making me double over in pain and whimper.
"Louis! Hurry up! Liam doesn't have much longer!" Harry yells further down the bus at Louis.
Louis suddenly appears from where Paul is driving a phone to his ear.
"Bad news lads we're at least two hours from the nearest hospital. Dr. Caine is at least and hour and a half away. He is also useless, he told me he wasn't prepared for a natural birth. Fucking doctor isn't prepared, some doctor he is! I'm calling my mum now, just hold on a little longer Liam," Louis instructs me like I have a choice. "Mum, hey we're kind of having an emergency. What am I going to need to deliver a couple babies?" Louis asks the phone making me go wide eyed. I am not having my babies in a hospital and their not being delivered by a doctor or even a paramedic, the boys are going to deliver them well talking to Louis' mum over the phone!
I watch as Louis runs around grabbing things for their birth. Including towels, scissours, filling the sink with luke warm water and grabbing string.
"Harry, help Liam up and over to the sitting room. I can't help him deliver the babies if I can't even get near the bed," Louis says as he lays out a large towel on the floor.
Harry grabs my arm helping me to my feet. I keep one of my hands on the bottom of my belly, cradling it as we walk, across the bus. Louis comes over and helps me settle down on the floor over the towel.
"Grab a pillow for him to lay back on. Harry you stay by Liam's side couch him through this and comfort him. Zayn stand near by so I can hand the babies to you for you to carry to the sink. Niall stand by the sink and help wash the babies when they come out, then dry them and wrap them up in something, sense we were all stupid enough not to have something on the bus in case the babies did come," Louis orders as he starts to take my pants off.
