Facing The Truth

Harry's POV

A month has gone by sense Liam and I were drugged. Like usual I spend much of my time at Liam's helping him take care of the triplets with Niall and Louis help out, only now Niall, Louis and I watch Liam closely, watching for any signs that he may be pregnant again.

The idea of him carrying a baby makes my heart twist in knots, for now Zayn might not be the only one that could possibly be a father.

With the triplets now being seven months they have been getting to be quite a hand full. Now when we let them on the floor in the living room all they want to do is go exploring and watching them roll around is quite entertaining. Ally has developed this stragedy of getting around by rolling around on the floor. Every time she wants to get over us or get another toy she rolls around on the floor or just pats it excitedly trying to get our attention so we will help her, sometimes it's almost like she is a baby seal.

I lounge on the couch in the living room watching Tv well the babies sit in their play chairs, moving around the room or slapping the table in front of them. Ian has discover his enjoyment of jumping up and down in his seat, I swear one of these days the boy is just going to jump right out of his seat. 

Liam has Ian on the floor with him and is helping him explore the idea of standing up and taking steps. Liam holds Ian by his hands as he stands and looks around the room curiously. Ian takes a step forward before falling back down onto the floor and falling back into Liam's arms, making Ian giggle.

Liam slides back against the couch with Ian in his arms, letting him climb all over him and jump on his thighs or grab onto his shoulder for support and sometimes just playing with Liam's face. 

"Ian, stop, no more," Liam warns Ian when he pounces on Liam a little too hard. Ian looks up at Liam with wide blue eyes before launching himself forward and into Liam lap. Liam something is bothering him and I don't think it has anything to do with Ian. "Ian, sit, no more," Liam warns again one hand on Ian supporting him and the other on his belly area, pain in his eyes and posture.

"Li, you okay?" Louis asks from behind me taking the words right out of my mouth. 

"Yeah, just some cramps. I've been having them on and off for the past couple of weeks," Liam replies doubling over when an extremely painful one hits him.

Louis and I exchange startled looks, remembering when in the first month of his pregnancy with the triplets he had gotten similar cramps as his body accommodated with carrying the babies.

"Why didn't you say anything earlier, Li?" I ask wanting to just take Ian from his arms and order him to lie down so he doesn't accidentally hurt the baby that may more than likely be growing inside of him.

"I knew you guys would assume, and it's not that. I just have a touch of the flu or something. I've been sick, have had headaches and stomach cramps, it's nothing," he replies clearly not trying to convince himself more than me.

"You had that when you first got pregnant with the triplets too, it's your body adapting to carrying a baby, it's more painful for males remember?" Louis asks bringing up my exact thoughts.

Liam just shakes his head and gets up picking Ian up in his arms, much to Ian's dismay for he is not done playing. Liam's belly is still bothering him as he places Ian in the play pen with Alex and Ally, his hand hovers near his belly.

Not wanting to hear any more excuses, once Ian is safely in the pen with his siblings I wrap my arms around Liam's waist pulling him back to the couch and forcing him to lie down.

"It can't be that...if it is that would make you or Zayn the father and  can't do that. I can't, especially not after what Zayn said to me. I mean what if it is his baby and he wants nothing to do with it or me or worse just wants it gone and does something crazy? I don't want this to ruin our friendship but I feel as though it already has," Liam tells me as I throw a blanket over him well he keeps his hands on his belly, clearly knowing it's not the flu.
