Welcome, Player Jack!
"W-Where am I?" Jackson rubs his eyes as he gets up. Jackson falls over, the gear-shaped surface he's on is moving. He tries again and can maintain his balance. Jackson notices a few other similar landings. He looks around, it's just more gears. Jackson tries to take all of this in for a minute. Remembering he's in a game, He sprints towards the edge of the platform and it starts to shift towards the side he's on. He jumped to the other platform, It was too far and he falls. he makes a desperate last-minute grab onto the cog. the platform starts to tilt towards Jackson, so he tries to get it upright. Jackson swings his legs to get it spinning, He waits until he's at the top of the platform. He lets go. It sends him flying into the air and drops to another platform.
"That was exhilarating," Jackson notes to himself.
Jackson tries to see if there's a place without the need for parkour, "Finally! A town!" He spots a seemingly old, run-down town off in the distance- But to get there, he needs to jump more gears. While Jackson was observing that town and plotting how he'd get there, his doom was impending. Another gear was closing in, and it had a significant size. On its side, rolling towards Jackson. Its shadow covers him. Unprepared, Jackson makes a quick hop to the next gear. He made a stable landing on the other platform and watched as the gear tore through the previous platform. Jackson had a look of terror in his eyes.
"I should hurry up before that thing circles around and comes back for me." Jackson is sweating bullets. Jackson finds a few tiny gears and gets the hang of this world. He goes to wipe the sweat off his forehead, and a pair of goggles fall out of his hair. Confused, Jackson looks down at them on the platform, he notices his entire wardrobe has changed. He's wearing a Steampunk outfit. Jackson then realizes he has a backpack with stuff in it.
"Wrench, a card, blowtorch... What are these even for." Jackson whispers to himself. He takes out the Wrench. "This looks oddly familiar" Jackson gains a memory. It's of him and his dad. They were working on a robot together, Jackson would hand his dad the tools; the wrench was the hardest to pick up. It was massive! It weighed tons! They had an awesome time, though. That was when Jackson was 6. The memory gave Jackson the determination to get through this game and get back to his family back at home.
He puts the Wrench back in his Bag and takes out the Card.

A picture of Jackson is also shown on the Card along with other, more personal stuff about him. The picture was of his In-Game avatar, His hair the same way; all over the place. he saw terror in his own eyes through the Card. he was surprised and looked around. There were no cameras. Jackson is Fascinated by the Card, and he puts it back in.
Jackson lost track of time and noticed the gear was already coming back around. He puts the Bag back on, and it just seems to go away. Jackson's breathing gets heavy, he has no clue what's going on or why he's even here. All he knew was that he needed to get out. That he needed to finish the game. Jackson was spending too much time thinking. The gear tore through the platform he was on.
