Nabil and Lillian were busy chatting as when Mr Costa walked into the studio,

"I guess today's lesson is now over," Lillian and a handful of other students felt that the dislike between Mr Costa and Mr Brooks was actually very interesting.

"No, I'm just deciding who to shortlist." He explained as all of the students got nervous,

"You, you, you, you, you, you, you and you." Mr Costa pointed to a handful of people including,

Oren, Neveah, June, Nabil, Caleb and Lillian.

It was going to be an interesting time fighting for the main solo.

The group were busy attempting to do the new choreography that Mr Costa had created,

And they were are facing the brunt of his anger.

"This partnership isn't working." Mr Costa groaned as he squeezed the small red stress ball in his hand,

'I would hate to be that ball,' Lillian thought to herself as the Italian sent her a glare,

"Lennox you're switching with Wick." He added as Lillian and Caleb both sent each other a confused look,

They had always danced together despite having personalities that clashed.

"Now," Caleb and Oren nodded before quickly changing partners,

As Oren placed his hands on Lillian's waist Bette started protesting,

"Why can't Shane and I change partners too?" Bette groaned as Neveah and Lillian smirked,

"Because I only changed them, not you two, now back to the number." Before the blonde could continue the music started again,

"Just relax okay?" Oren whispered to the girl as she placed her hand on his shoulder.

Lillian found herself walking around the streets of Chicago as she tried to clear her head from whatever thoughts were coming in.

Ever since Kyle died it got Lillian thinking about her childhood,

And the things that went down during it.

"Hey partner," Oren called out with a smile as the girl pulled out one of her AirPods to hear the boy.

"Hi," Lillian sent the boy a signature salute as she stopped and waited for him to catch up to her.

"How'd you find me down here?" She added realising that she was in the heart of the city and it would have taken someone a bit of time to find her there.

"I saw you leave earlier and wanted to see you," he explained starting to realise that he made it sound creepy.

"So in other words you were following me?" The Rhodes girl teased failing to see the pink tint she caused the older boy to have on his cheeks.

"Well, when you put it that way, yes." Oren shrugged knowing that there was no way of getting out of it.

"So what can I do for you then?" Lillian asked as the two starting walking again,

"If we are going to be dance partners, then I think we should be friends." He explained and Lillian knew he had a point,

She wasn't really complaining though.

"Okay." She nodded figuring that she had nothing to lose besides a bit of pride.

"That's all?" The Raven-haired boy sent her a glare as she nodded,

"Yes, Lennox that's all." The blonde spoke in a duh tone as she shoved her hands into the pockets of her bomber jacket.

"Well then I have an offer," Oren figured that there was only one way to get the girl to fully calm down and actually breathe around him.

"Another one aye?" Somehow the older boy completely failed to pick up the sarcasm in her voice.

"Why don't we got to the club down the road from here tonight, we can blow off some steam?" Lillian pressed her lips into a thin line as it was the first time she wasn't getting a response from him about what she had to say,

"I'm down." The Rhodes girl nodded not realising how fucked up the night was about to get.

Lillian was sat in her room as she tried to talk Elizabeth into joining her at the club since other people were coming too.

"Are you sure you don't want to come?" Lillian pleaded as she figured she could try and give it one last shot,

"Yes Lillian, I should go and finally see Cassie." The duo never seemed to call each other by any form of nickname despite them being like two peas in a pod,

"When will you go and see her?" She added looking up at the blonde who was looking for a dress to wear,

"Not a clue," Lillian shrugged not knowing when it was the right time to go and visit the girl.

"Wait that one looks cute for you." The Irish girl quickly changed the subject realising that her friend wasn't interested in talking about it anymore.

"So how are things going with Oren?" She added in a teasing tone as the girl slid into the red sparkly body-con dress.

"We are just dance partners," the Rhodes girl brushed it off as she was too busy looking for the right pair of shoes to wear.

"So," Lillian officially decided that she had to stop letting her friend read romance novels as it was all going to her head.

"Nothing is happening between us." The blonde spoke in a duh tone as she slipped one of her blue heels on,

"You sure?" Elizabeth asked as Lillian rolled her eyes.

"I'm positive." The Rhodes girl slipped on the other heel as she got up to examine the final look,

"Yo, you look hot as hell." The brunette cheered knowing that nobody was going to be able to take their eyes off of her,

Including Oren Lennox.
