It was a surprisingly warm day when Lillian decided to go exploring when she watched Oren storm off in a fit from Shane,

"Oh hey, Lillian." Shane sent her a smile as she walked over to him,

"You okay, Lennox seemed a bit pissed," Lillian flashed the boy a concerned smile,

"Oh, he definitely was more than just a bit pissed." Shane nodded his head as he saw the girl was confused

"You see I told him that he needs to eat," he explained as the girl was still trying to put the pieces together in her head.

"And why downs that piss him off?" Lillian cocked her head as she was getting more confused by the moment.

"Because he been throwing up everything he eats." He explained not realising that he probably wasn't meant to tell her that.

"I'll be back," the girl placed her hair up into a high pony only meaning one thing,

She meant business.

"Wait Lillian," he called out for the girl who was only a few steps away from him,

"Yeah," she turned back around to face Shane,

"Be soft on him please?" Although Shane knew that Oren didn't like him the same way, he still deeply cared for the Raven-haired boy.

"I wouldn't do it any other way." Lillian grinned as she started her mission to find him

Lillian walked down to the water fountain and much to her surprise Oren was sat there,

"Last time I played hide and seek, the hiders actually hid." Lillian joked as she walked up to the boy,

"What do you want Rhodes?" Oren groaned,

It was the first time he was annoyed to see her.

"And I'm not interested in hearing you tell me to eat." He added as the girl nodded,

"I wasn't going to do that because it isn't my place to, can I sit?" The girl asked motioning to space next to him hoping that he wouldn't say no as her legs were still sore from the morning rehearsal.

"Yeah sure." The older boy tapped the space next to him as he shifted over slightly,

"I came here to tell you that you can talk to me about anything whenever," Lillian explained as she fiddled with the rings on her fingers.

"Really?" Oren sounded almost shocked to hear that the girl was willing to listen to him if he ever wanted to talk,

"Yes really." She let out a slight giggle hearing the state that the boy was in,

"She had a cute laugh," Oren thought to himself as he looked over to see her looking right back at him.

"Then I want to do the same for you," he nodded as the girl grinned,

"Is that a deal then Lennox?" Lillian asked as she held her hand out for him to shake,

She seemed to be old fashioned when it came to certain things.

"I think it may be." Oren shook the girl's hand before he looked down to his watch to see the time.

"Now come on we have Dehlia's show to get ready for." He added as he held his hand out for the girl to hold.

Lillian and Elizabeth were stood in their room as they tried to come up with decent outfits to wear.

"Do you like the red or the blue?" Elizabeth asked as she held up two different dresses,

"I like the red on you, the style is great." Lillian was a sucker for a square top when it came to dresses,

"Do you know what you're going to wear yet?" The Irish girl asked as she watched the girl curl her hair,

"I don't have a clue," Lillian confessed as she hadn't even thought about it,

"Well, I suggest that you hurry because we have an hour before we need to be ready," Elizabeth warned as the girl who was currently sat on the floor nodded,

"And we all know how Madame feels about being late." Both girls giggled as they spoke at the same time.

It was finally time for the gala to take place and Lillian found herself with the one man she couldn't stand,

Mason Rhodes her father.

"So how is dance going?" Mason asked as he downed the last bit of his scotch,

"The things I would do to be drunk right now." Lillian thought to herself as she wished she could come up with an excuse to leave the place,

"You alright Lilli?" Mason was the only one who ever called her that and somehow it still managed to make Lillian remember the times that she actually got on with her father,

"Yeah I'm fine thanks," his daughter smiled as she nodded,

"You still struggling to focus?" Despite Mason being a shitty dad he still cared for his children,

But he understood why they didn't want to talk to him.

"It's not as bad as it used to be," she had been tested for every attention disorder that was out there but nobody could find out why the girl couldn't concentrate when she wasn't dancing.

"Kiddo I don't want this to be awkward between us?"  Mason sighed tapping his glass,

"Maybe you should have thought about that before you decided you couldn't keep your dick in your pants," Lillian mumbled as her father sent her a glare.

"Ex-" just before he could continue Oren walked up to the two and quickly interrupted them,

"Rhodes, can you help me bring Bette back to her room?" He asked as Lillian didn't waste any time leaving her father,

"See you in the future." She waved to her father as the three walked out of the room.

"Thanks for that," maybe Oren was her knight in shining armour after all.
