Lillian found Nabil up on the roof as he was busy finishing up one of his daily prayers,
"Hey Lillian," Nabil sent her a smile as he started to roll up his mat,
"Hey," Lillian sent the boy a wave as she stuck her hands in the pocket of her hoodie,
She only had enough time to put on some sneakers and grab a hoodie before she came up there.
"How do you always know where Mecca is?" It was something that the girl had always wondered,
"You know about Islam?" It took Nabil by surprise as he assumed that she would have been the kind of person that didn't know anything more than two feet in front of her face.
"Yeah, my mom came back from working with the UN in Sudan and taught my brothers and me all about it." The Rhodes girl explained as they started walking down the steps as it was late.
"That was cool of her," the Frenchmen smiled remembering that Amelia was the nicer parent,
"But to answer your question it is just one of the things that you know." He added as he looked up to the girl,
"Just like how you know to breathe." Deciding to give her an example that she would actually understand.
"Wow," Lillian's eyes went wide as she how simple it actually was for them.
"So what brought you up there?" The boy couldn't help but ask knowing that the girl didn't like going up there by herself unless she was in a sad mood,
"Well, I just wanted to apologise for Caleb this evening." The girl knew that it should have been him apologising but it was the next best thing.
"Don't worry about it, if he doesn't want to like me then he doesn't have to." Nabil accepted that the boy didn't want to be his friend earlier in his stay.
"But still it doesn't give him a right to treat you like he does." Lillian was doing everything she could to not go ahead and punch Caleb too,
"There's nothing we can do about it." The boy could tell where her mind was going and he didn't like the thought of it.
"I guess so." She saw Caleb standing in the kitchen when she came up with an idea,
"I'm going to head to the kitchen, see you tomorrow?" Before he could even respond Lillian was already off to the other side of the hallway.
"Good night." With that Nabil was on his way back to his room,
"Yo Caleb," she sent the southerner a glare as he turned around to her.
"Hey Lillian," he responded to the girl a she turned around to face her,
"What is your problem with Nabil, like he did nothing to deserve how you treat him." She crossed her arms as she was about to try and find out the problem once and for all.
"His people killed my father, and I would think that you would get that as they killed your-" Caleb was cut off by Lillian as she tried to keep her voice down,
"You know how racist that is? Nabil is a Muslim not a fucking terrorist, those were the people that killed your father." If Caleb didn't have connections with Madame then Lillian would have been sure to slap him silly,
But instead, she had to hold a bit of restraint.
"And look I'm sorry that your dad is dead I really am, but don't you dare bring up my brother ever again," Lillian added as she felt tears well up in her eyes,
It was the first time she got emotional about her brother's death.
"Lillian wait," Caleb called out for her but it was too late and the girl was already off.

Lillian found herself sat in the chair by Cassie's bedside,
"So not that you even really care, Kyle died." Lillian didn't know what caused her to willingly open up to the girl but she was dead in a coma,
So it basically meant that she wouldn't remember any of the things that anyone said if she ever woke up.
"He was in Afghanistan and was classified as KIA but at least it wasn't an MIA case because I think that both my parents would have killed themselves trying to figure out what happened to him." Lillian fiddled with the sleeves of her hoodie as she heard a knock at the door,
"I was just about to leave don't worry. The Rhodes girl got up grabbing her phone off of the windowsill as the door was finally opened,
"Don't worry, I actually wanted to talk to you, I'm officer Cruz." 𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋 𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐙 spoke as she shut the door,
"I haven't interviewed you yet." Isabel realised that the girl was the one student that she hadn't spoken to yet,
So she hoped that the girl could be the missing piece to the puzzle.
"And there is no real point in doing so." Lillian let out a slight scoff as she knew that she was innocent.
"You do realise that you are a potential suspect in an attempt murder case." The dancer was starting to annoy the officer,
"I actually can't be." The blonde shook her head,
"Yes, you are." The older women was adamant on getting it through to Lillian,
"No, I'm not, I have an actual alibi." The Rhodes girl sent the officer a smirk knowing that there was no way in hell that she was going to jail if someone tried to pin it on her.
"Let's hear it then." She motioned for the girl to continue as she pulled out her notebook obviously to write down what Lillian was about to say,
"I was in California for my brother's funeral the night she fell," Lillian explained as the women looked up to her,
"And can anyone clear you?" Officer Cruz cocked her head to the side hoping that the girl didn't have an alibi,
Because she wouldn't mind seeing Lillian rot in jail right now.
"The California Morgue." The blonde knew that she couldn't say her family so she said the place that her brother was cremated instead.
"Well then." And just like that Lillian was left in the room with Cassie once more.
