Catra's POV:

"Catra!" Entrapta jumped on my back with glee as she waved a sparkly pink crystal in front of my eyes.

"Ugh, get off me." I scowled before tilting my head and asking, "What's that?"

"Oh nothing, it's just a pink crystal I found." she replied simply as I shrugged and was about to walk off.

"I'm almost done with that green chip!" she announced, "I figured out that green chip was this sort of control system. It has things linked to it, as if there's one hive mind, like a beehive." she explained.

"And this helps us how...?" I asked while Entrapta looked at me dumb founded for a minute.

"Ohhh," she realized what I was asking, "It doesn't," she shrugged.

"What do you mean it doesn't?!?!" I yelled shaking her shoulders violently but she gave me a blank stare as if that didn't really have an affect on her.

"According to my calculations, if we figure out how to use it, the best we can do is link it to several people but even then we don't know who the hive mind is." she explained.

"So it's useless," I commented.

"Not necessarily, failures are important! Without failures we wouldn't be who we are today!" she said, "and this, this told me so many things about Horde Prime I couldn't have dreamed of knowing!" she smiled enthusiastically as she skipped back to the lab.

I tried to keep my composure ever since the incident with Scorpia and I took a deep breath and continued to walk away.

"Hey Kitten," Double Trouble smirked, leaning against the wall.

"Hey DT." I stated blankly while daydreaming, I don't know what I was daydreaming about. Maybe it was a life with Adora, or it might have been just lying down and never getting up, either way I hated myself for thinking that.

"I'm going on a mission to Salineas," I stated, "Hordak wanted me to burn it down." I said plainly as if it were the most normal thing in the world.

"Okay darling, have fun," they said happily before leaving.

"Oh, and one more thing." I called out as they looked at me with wonder.

"Yes darling?" they asked with one eyebrow raised.

"Tell Scorpia to come too," I said before actually leaving. They nodded and left me to myself as I hopped onto a ship. I'm still incredibly scared of the water, but now I think I've faced worse than a few waves.

I was about to call Scorpia and tell her that she could take the other ship over but then decided against it.

"She'll figure it out." I mumbled to myself.

After about 20 minutes of sailing, the ship lurched forward in a sudden storm as I stumbled back and sprawled out against the deck.

"Whoever's steering this thing, get us out of here!" I ordered as I noticed no one was at the steering wheel.

"I coulda sword I saw them a few minutes ago..." I thought to myself before grabbing hold of the wheel.

"I'm sorry Force Captain Catra! I was back there, I'll take the wheel!" a Horde soldier said as I stepped back in relief, too tired to say anything and left them alone with the wheel.

I saw Salineas approaching as I narrowed my eyes, "Salineas here we come." I smirked before grabbing my speaker.

"Hey Scorpia?" I asked into the speaker, "Scorpia!" I cried out with worry, "Scorpia, please..." my voice cracked.

"UGH!" I smashed the speaker onto the ground right before digging my claws into my hair with frustration.

"You okay captain?" another soldier approached me as I shoved them aside, "I'm fine," I grumbled.

"Alright geez," they said, backing away with their hands up.

Adora's POV:

I know that Glimmer said not do to this and it was a bad plan and all but I felt the need to investigate what the Horde was trying to do.

I had already asked Bow to come with me and he had agreed to it after being irritated with me about Glimmer. I just needed to see if Spinnerella and Netossa were on board.

"She what?!" Netossa sputtered in anger after I had explained what happened.

"Darling I know your mad but calm-" Spinnerella tried while Netossa gently pushed her arms out of the way before continuing to rage in anger.

"Why would she do that?! It's as if she doesn't know everything you've done, and what you're saying makes sense!" she burst out, "I'm going with you to the Horde no matter what!" Netossa yelled and I didn't know whether to smile at the support or fear her.

"Great, it's settled then." I said with a smile.

"Awww yeah! Best fri- I mean, friend mission to spy on the Horde!" he exclaimed with excitement and a little bit of guilt.

"I'm sorry Bow," I said softly trying to comfort him.

"It's not your fault that happened, I don't know what's gotten into her," Bow sighed before wrapping his arms around me and digging his head into my shoulder.

"Are we not gonna be allowed into that hug?" Netossa asked with a smirk on her face while Spinnerella smiled softly at her wife. (I know last chapter I was referring to them as girlfriends but this is better).

"Awww come on guys!" I welcomed them in, as they squiggled through and wrapped their arms around us.

I grabbed out a grappling hook as I got ready to tie it onto the top while Netossa and Spinnerella looked at me with confusion.

"You know... we could just travel there with my wind powers," Spinnerella offered, reaching out her hand to Bow and I.

"Why haven't we included you two on more missions?" Bow asked as he gave himself a mental facepalm.

"You guys just didn't have enough braincells to think of the idea," Netossa replied before hoisting herself onto Spinnerella's back.

"You ready to go?" Netossa asked as Bow and I gripped Spinnerella's arms.

"Now we are, "I smiled as we soared off.

Glimmer's POV:

I got out of the bathroom after I had just taken a shower and got into a fresh pair of pajamas.

"Huh?" I asked in shock as I scurried over to the window to see Adora, Spinnerella, Netossa, and Bow flying over to the Horde's side of the Whispering Woods.

"Argh!" I pounded my fists onto my bed while teleporting all around the room.

"Is everything okay Glimmer?" Shadow Weaver stepped into the light as I almost started crying but then kept a firm face.

"My so called friends decided to run off on their own mission," I explained while Shadow Weaver looked down on me.

"Then we must get them back- well at least Adora, the rest can do whatever for all I care." she stated as I shook my head.

"They've made their choice," I said sourly before shutting the blinds of the window.

"Are you sure that is wise?" Shadow Weaver argued as I nodded my head.

"Besides, we have everything we need right here," I replied, pointing to Scorpia and the sword Adora may have accidentally left behind in shock.

"Scorpia? Glimmer, she can't-" Shadow Weaver started before I cut her off.

"Trust me on this," I responded confidently.
