Y'all better like this. I'm skipping study for this 😂

Severus paced outside the hospital wing as Jessica laboured to bring her baby into the world. Lucius looked off into the distance while the Waynes tried again and again to contact Elizabeth's parents. All of a sudden the doors busted open and a couple in their forties dressed in formal wear strode in.

Elizabeth jumped up and ran to her parents "Mama! Papa! I knew you'd come! I missed you so-"
"That's enough, Elizabeth. We're here to discuss whether to put you in the wizarding or normal system so these" her mother's nose wrinkled in disgust "despots will. Stop. Calling. Us." She bit out each word with venom, not even looking at her lost daughter.
"We knew you were a freak, Elizabeth. We TRIED to make you normal. But then you and Jane were taken. Where is she anyway?" Her father said as Jessica's screams pierced the air. "Is that our little girl?" He said, looking at the door.

"N-no, papa. Jane died this morning. S-she didn't make it... she hung herself." Elizabeth cried. Her friends looked on sadly with their families, the parents watching in horror.
"It should have been you. This is all your fault" Her mother said flatly, looking into her daughter's eyes. Eyes that matched her own so well.

"What did you just say?" Said Ciara's mother quietly, with barely suppressed rage in her eyes as everyone glared at the Warrens.
"Jane should have survived. Not this mistake of a human. It's her fault my one normal child is dead" Mrs Warren replied indifferently, as if discussing the weather.
"How could you say that about your own daughter?!" Isaac Wayne exclaimed.

"That is none of your concern." Mr Warren bit back.
"Jane had the same gifts I do, papa. She just hid it after she saw how you treated me. She tried to help me hide it but I can't control it when I'm upset. And because you don't love me I was always upset. I wanted you to love me." Said Elizabeth quietly. All the grown ups turned to look at the tiny girl who instead of a look of anger or grief, wore a sad, bittersweet smile. She continued in a kind, gentle tone.
" Jane couldn't take it anymore. She didn't know I had managed to get help. No one knew. I was on my own when it happened. I didn't know Jane was struggling more than I was. I thought she was ok. I'm sorry." She said quietly. "I'm sorry I'm not the little girl you wanted." She finished, eyes downcast.

"I don't care who you two think you are. But get the hell out of here. Or your bodies will never be found. No child is a freak. You should be grateful you even have a child left. One of the couples here lost a daughter too. She died about the same time as Jane. Your daughter is a very special girl. Not only did she survive, she is a witch. She possesses a magical gift not bestowed to many others and don't you dare shame her for it." Isaac said angrily, wand out, stalking towards the couple who looked around in fear. Everyone except the kids had their wands out and aimed at them. The girls had knives, bows, swords, whatever weapons they had kept from the bar, shielding Elizabeth.

"Keep her then. She's not our problem. Come, darling. Let's go." Mr Warren scoffed as the couple left St Mungo's. The girls all hugged Elizabeth while Severus's heart warmed at how close they were. Anything he could've said was already said by the people before him. Albus and Minerva arrived and looked at the scene before them.
"I take it that one of the girls is now an orphan?" Asked Minerva softly, looking at the group.
"Yes. Her parents abandoned her. But I think she has a new family." Severus replied, looking on as Isaac got down and spoke quietly to Elizabeth, who squealed and threw her arms around him.

"Lovely. It would be a shame if she became a ward of the school." Albus said. The doors opened. "Ms Wayne wants her parents, Elizabeth Warren, her brothers, sisters and Severus Snape to come into her now." The doctor said, looking at the clipboard. "So you're Jessie's big brother?" Elizabeth asked him as they walked in.
"Yes. Once. Although I don't know now." Severus replied as they looked on.
