Just a phone call

Three day after the party happened Anna is working and she doesn't feel so good because she is sad
-hey are you ok, asks her boss
-yes I'll just go drink some water and I'll be back,she says

Anna goes to drink and hear the bell saying that there is someone entering she put back her glass of water and goes in front to take the clients order
-hi what can I get you today, she says looking up, oh Sam
-oh hi, he says shyly, I didn't know you were working here I'll go it's fine
-no come one we can act like human I won't kick you out, she says
Her boss saw and heard everything and she also saw Anna not really happy him being there she know he is the cause of Anna's sadness
-Anna, Damien need you in the back store I'll take care of this customer , her boss says
-oh ok
Anna goes back store and try to find Damien
-oh there you are, boss said you needed my help?anna ask him
-umm nah, he says confused
Damien goes to see why Anna need to leave the front store and he see him, the guy that broke his best friend's heart, he can't think correctly, all he want to do is beat his ass. Walk towards him and says
-hey asshole
-Damien? Didn't you need Anna's help back store, Sam says confuse
-it's fine now, what are you doing here it has not been two week, not even one. Damien says still pissed off
-come on calm down I didn't know she worked today and she said it was alright,says Sam defensively
-um yeah right,says Damien
The two boys look at each other badly, Sam thinking Damien is overprotective for Anna and Damien thinking Sam is not good for Anna
-is she ok,Sam finally ask breaking the silence
-better than three days ago,Damien says
-bye,says Sam knowing Damien was right, he truly hurt Anna.

That night Anna goes to sleep and she just turn around in her bed unable to sleep the kiss her and Sam shared keep playing in her head. She is about to text him when her phone ring she answer it's Luke
-hey sis
-hey bro
-are you ok Damien told me Sam went to your Starbucks
-first of all it's not my Starbucks and yes I'm fine it just surprised me at first, she answers
-if you don't feel safe I'll tell him to go to another
-Luke it's a Starbucks it's not like he came to my house, he crossed the street to go get a coffee it's alright, she says
-you would tell me if something else happens,Luke ask
-yes now please can I sleep,she says
-were you even trying to sleep you picked up the first time it rang
-shut up,she says laughing
They hang up and Anna feel so lonely, she have her big house for her and her only, since her parents decide to go on vacation during all summer and she didn't want to go. She walk around her house instead of sleeping she decided to call Luke again to drive around town so maybe she can find some sleep

-hey this is Luke's phone what can I do for you today
-Alisha?
-oh crap,Luke says from farther, give me the phone Alisha
-Luke?
-yes, he says
-I was gonna ask you if you wanted to go drive around town be seems like you are occupied,Anna says laughing
-yeah umm
-since when,Anna ask
-since when what,he ask
-you and Alisha
-ok bye try to sleep,Luke says hanging up

Anna wonder if Marie is aware of her cousin and Luke she want to call her but realize she might be sleeping at this time.

Anna decide to go on her phone, she opens TikTok and receive a notification:

Anna is speechless about this she like the video and the comment, close her phone and goes to sleep she still can't sleep but doesn't know what to do. The kiss stay in her mind and she finally give up and call him

-no it's fine I couldn't sleep, what's wrong,he ask
-can we please go drive around town I used to do it with Luke but he is occupied at the moment

~at Sam's parent's house ~

-where are you going,M.Grant ask
-to drive around town I can't sleep and I heard fresh air is helping
-open the window your room because you are not going anywhere
-please it's for Anna, he beg
-yeah right I think she was clear about that, she didn't want to see you for two weeks it's been four days
-I swear it's true she called me see, Sam says showing his dad his call history where we can see that Anna called him five minutes ago.

M.Grant let his son go but call Anna to be sure it's true and she is ok with that

-hi is everything ok
-yes my dear I wanted to make sure it was true.

-did you ask Sam to come pick you up to drive around town?
-yes I couldn't sleep and if I woke you up I'm sorry I didn't mean to
-no you didn't woke me up I heard Sam leaving his room so I wanted to know where he was going but now I know it's ok I'm going back to bed and I wish you'll find sleep.
-yes thank you good night,she says

Sam pull up in her drive way about 2 minute after Anna hung up with his father.
-hey your dad just call me, she says
-really why, he ask
-to be sure I asked you to come, she says, but its fine I thinks it's cute
-yeah he really likes you
