A/N : This chapter based off of Motive by the one and only Ariana Grande ft. Doja cat

Ariana's POV : I was fast asleep in my bed when all of a sudden, my phone started to ring. I looked over at my clock and saw that it was 6am. Who the fuck is calling me at six in the morning? I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and answered whoever it was. "Hello?" I said groggily.

"I need you to pick up my coffee from Starbucks, their not open but let them know who you work for and they'll let you in. Then I'll need you to stop by at the copy place and print out about a hundred copies of this year's march issue. Then come by my office and I'll give you something else to do. If my coffee isn't here within fifteen minutes then don't bother coming back." Ms. O'Connell says, ending the call right after. "Fuck me." I mumble under my breath. I live 30 minutes away from the building how the hell am I gonna do this in fifteen minutes.

Okay, I'll just shower quickly and brush my teeth while I'm in the shower, then I'll just throw my hair up in a messy bun or something and hope for the best. Quickly hopping out of bed, I grab my towel and my toothbrush and rush into my bathroom.

Finally, I had arrived to the building and rushed upstairs to the second floor. I was twenty minutes late but hopefully she doesn't fire me. Worst comes to worst and she'll just yell at me which I can handle. "Do you realize she's gonna kill you. Like she's actually going to kill you." Ashley says, taking my jacket for me. "Yeah, I'm aware." I mumble. After I put my stuff down, I walked into Ms. O'Connell's office with her coffee in my hand and the 100 copies of the march issue. "M-Ms. O'Connell-" "Your late." She says, turning around in her spinning chair.

"I know but-" "It wasn't a question." She says, making direct eye contact with me. She was so intimidating it was scary. "Coffee here, papers there and leave." I nodded my head, placing her coffee down on the luis vuttion coaster, and the papers right next to it. When I bent over slightly to place her papers down, I felt a cool breeze go down my button up shirt. I then realized that I was in such a rush, I forgot to button it up all the way. "Leave it." Ms. O'Connell interupted me as I was about to fix that problem.

I was confused since she always told Ashely to button her shirt up. Why was I any different? "Do you need anything else Ms. O'Connell?" I asked. "Yes, c'mere." She said, surprisingly patting her lap for me to sit on. I wasn't going to question her, instead I did as told and sat on her lap. "Look over these with me and tell me which one you like best." She then opened a file on her laptop, showing me the photos we took yesterday. Wrapping her arms around my waist, her chin rested on my shoulder. "I liked this one but I wanted this one to be on the cover so you just tell me which one you like best." The cover? Cover of what?

"U-um... well between these two I'm gonna have to go with the first one." I mumbled, pointing to the picture of me posing on the couch. 'This one?" "Yeah." I chuckled nervously. What were these for? Why did she want my opinion? "We have multiple ones of this one so pick one, this one or that one." She says, pointing to one of the duplicates of the same picture. I took a little while on deciding because I really loved both. "The first one." "K." She mumbled, clicking on that file and pressing the print button. "Do me a favor and go upstairs to Lisa and tell her that A8362G is the cover?" "Yes Ms. O'Connell." She handed me the paper as I got off her lap. I really liked this picture.
