A/N : I hate this damn book 🎉

(Next day)

Ariana's POV

I woke up to an alarm going off but it wasn't the alarm I was used to. It was a different one. I started to rub the sleep out of my eyes as the alarm got turned off.

"Go back to sleep mama, I'll let you know when you have to wake up." I heard Ms. O'Connell's raspy morning voice mumble from next to me. Oh yeah, I slept with my boss. That's fun.

I mumbled a lazy "Okay," and closed my eyes, expecting to go back to sleep with her. However that wasn't the case considering she was starting to get out of bed.

"Noooo, stay in bed with me." I whined, pulling her back down. "Bitch get off, I gotta get ready." She groaned.

"Please?"

She ignored my begging and got out of the bed anyways. I huffed and layed back down, pulling the sheets over my head.

Well now I'm not sleepy anymore.

I was about to lift the bed sheets off myself when I noticed I was completely naked. "You actin like I didn't just rail you yesterday, get your ass outta bed and come shower with me." Ms. O'Connell said with much authority.

I huffed and pulled the sheets off of myself, revealing my naked body for her. "Sexy ass," She mumbled as she took off her baggy t-shirt.

I blushed at her words and got out of the bed nervously. "Here," She handed me a Gucci towel for after the shower.

 "Thanks."

It was really awkward for some reason. The air was tense and my hands were shaking slightly from how nervous I was.

I have no idea why. Maybe it's just the fact that I slept with my goddamn boss and I'm scared that someone's gonna find out about all this and I'll get fired but all I know is I need to chill the fuck out. It's not that serious.

~

We both had already finished showering as well as getting dressed. Today I was actually allowed to wear a hoodie, thank god because I was getting tired of people staring at my short ass skirts.

"You ready to go, angel?" She asked, fixing her green and black hair in the mirror. "Yeah." I chuckled nervously.

I hate when people call me angel. It pisses me off ; almost makes me feel powerless. Which I am in a way for her but still, just don't call me that.

"What about Toulouse?" I asked, referring to my dog who stayed the night as well.

"I'll have someone come over and watch him." Rich bitch. I bet she has a bunch of maids too.

She finished doing something on her phone and grabbed her keys to leave.

The car ride was silent. Dead silent. I felt like Ms. O'Connell was mad at me for something but her hand placed on my thigh said otherwise.

"Listen to me. Nothing, I repeat absolutely NOTHING happened last night. I'm not gay and you are not to walk around carelessly as if I will treat you any differently. We are not a 'thing' and never will be, do I make myself clear?" She caught me completely off guard, parking the car in her reserved spot.
