Ch. 7

~ | A Kiss From The Stars | ~

"Okay so looks like there's two bedrooms downstairs and just a master's bedroom up here?" Jin looked down at you for confirmation. Everyone is once again gathered around in a circle in the living room with their belongings in each hands.

You nodded your head in response. "Since there's a total of seven of us we're going to have to share rooms, heh. Hope you guys don't mind."

"No worries! We were going to share a room regardless at the hotel we saw." Hoseok inquired happily.

Mae turned to them nervously chuckling. "Ah hah, well you guys were, but I was going to get my own room too.."

You sadly turned to her who was right by your side. It was an obvious matter that she was the only girl who came with them as a group, so it's only right that you stick to her no matter what so she doesn't feel uncomfortable.

"With that being said, I think Mae and I should share a bedroom then, right? Us girls should stick together." You smiled when you linked arms with hers for comfort.

She happily grinned at your offer. "Yay! Nothing better than a girl's sleepover~" She wrapped her arms around you tightly, like two peas in a pod.

Taehyung on the other hand, made small puppy eyes to you only for the fact how he won't have you by his side or any cuddles for that matter.

"Taehyung.." You began, now locking eyes with his. "I hope you understand..I apologize but I think you'll be sharing a bedroom with the boys?"

He nervously chuckled and turned to them. "Ah..well, I'll just sleep here on the couch. It's no worries."

Jungkook happily yanked his arm and held him in a head lock afterwards. "Come on now~ no need to be shy! Just spend the night with us."

"Yeah! You'll be in for a treat." Hoseok chimes in jokingly as he leads the way downstairs to the first floor.

Jin sighs now realizing he'll only end up babysitting two little toddlers for the rest of the night. He follows behind Namjoon and Jungkook, who is marching down the stairs still linked with Taehyung by his side.

You turned to Mae as you gather half of her luggage by her. "Hopefully they don't make too much noise for the night." You giggled.

She smiles now waiting for you. "Trust me, you knew Hoseok longer than I have so you should know how he is by now." She jokingly shook her head as the two of you are now headed down the hall.

It was late at night finally, and yet you still couldn't manage to get a good shut eye of sleep. You were laying down on your bed as Mae slept on the floor with a twin air mattress and other blankets.

You thought she would be uncomfortable with where she was sleeping, but she even insisted on it in the first place. Jokingly stating she wouldn't dare sleep in the bed you and Taehyung normally rest at cause god knows what you both do.

Yet, she's dozing off peacefully and here you were struggling to even close your eyes. Even with your body rested on the bed, it still felt cold and empty.

Your eyes drifted off the your window as the white transparent curtain are dreaded from the sides. They stared the night sky and studied the silver glow of the moon. The glitter in the sky looks as if you could scoop it all up in your hands and let the stars swirl and touch one another but they are so distant, so far apart that they cannot feel the warmth of each other even though they are made of burning.
