Part 7 [Kat]

Everything was heating up in my house, everyone was yelling and arguing telling their stories for what happened at the party yesterday.

Last thing I remember is we are having fun with Zane then Pat comes back crying as he is mumbling words we cannot hear then as he is about to explain Jess sees his old arch enemy Felix and storms out leaving us there stunned, then Sam kisses Claire right in front of us and Dan gets so worked up and starts to get into an argument with her earning him a great slap from Claire literally embarrassing him.

Meanwhile, Alex dissappears and I have no clue where he is.

"What the fuck happened last night?" I ask trying to get everyone in control.

"That jerk thought she could kiss my man right in front of me," Dan spat out as he sunk into a chair.

"Who invited that devil Felix to the party, and who knew that he studied here anyway?" Jess asked as he placed the room.

"Okay guys, let's fix one problem at a time," I said.

"I'll go first, what does that bitch think she's getting off by kissing my man?" Dan asked.

"I don't know but you can't label him your's yet, remember that we have just joined highschool and these guys were already here and already in relationships before us, so let's cut them some slack," I said trying to be the empathetic person I am.

"And how about Felix?" Jess asked.

"Well he honestly looked different from the last time we all saw him,I think he changed," I answered.

For those who don't get what happened between Jess and Felix, here is a short explanation.

Felix used to date Jess's twin sister Tess and he also used to be the only fifth grader we knew who would smoke and drink.

Jess used to warn Felix to quit his habit but he wouldn't listen and one day he broke up with his sister after cheating on her with two girls and Antonia (Tess's best friend ) was one of them.

To make it worse later Felix started hitting on Jess and Jess had sex with him and the next year Felix never came back for him which hurt him.

"I don't care if he dresses like a gentleman now, I know that deep down, he is still that mean pshyco who played me and Tess," Jess says.

"Well, you should talk to him, he must have a good reason why he left you," I told him.

"What about you Pat, you are awfully silent," Dan said as he turned to face Pat.

"It's Silver, he was just using me,"Pat said as he burst into tears.

"Why did highschool have to be so hard, we already ruined our first entrance, then our first party and ruined our relationships," I say as I pick up snacks for me and my friends.

"Hey."

A  deep husky voice called out from behind me, I turned to see Alex standing there with a smile like everything was ok.

"Hey, I'm sorry for last night," he said.

I didn't want to hear whatever excuse he had.

"It's ok, don't worry about it," I lie.

I'm so weak.

"Well, I can make it up to you if you want,"he says.

I don't.

"I want."

"Ok good, see you at the Valentine's party."

He waved at me and walked away. I was super mad at the fact that he was really going to continue to hit on me even when what happened to my friends.

I ignored everything and rushed off back home.
On the way I bumped into Zane and Collin as they where jogging around school.

I can't believe that they are related.

"Hey," Zane calls out to me.

"Hey, what do you want?" I ask him.

"I was wanting to ask how Jess was doing, he left the party yesterday out of the blue and i wanted to know if everything is cool," he replied.

"Wait, why is that fairy so important to you right now?" Collin asked him.

"Hey leave him alone," I snap at him.

"It's okay, he is just like that," Zane tells me.

"Since when did you become sentimental?" Collin teases him and walks off.

"Jess is dealing with somethings right now and he needs some time to come around," I say to Zane and leave before he asks me more questions.

"Took you long enough, where did you have to go to get the food, China?" Dan asked as I entered the room.

"Shut up and help me set up the table," Jess comes to my rescue.

"I bumped into Zane and Collin," I blurt out making everyone freeze.

"So?" Dan asks.

"So, he wanted to know if him and Jess we're good," I replied.

"Did you hit him with the ' dealing with somethings ' line?" Dan asked.

"Yes I did, and Alex invited us for some Valentine's party, and I promised to meet him there," I said.

"Well, we shall think about the party later, right now Jess has to talk to Felix,"Dan said as he sat down.

"I still don't know what to say to him, should I call Tess to have her here with me?" Jess asked.

"Don't worry, I shall help you," I offer.

"Yeah me too, besides, I need a distraction from the Silver thing," Pat adds.

"Fine I'll tag along too," Dan finally agrees after us glaring at him.

The day went by so fast since we literally had nothing to do so we binged all the series we could think of, like modern family, I'm sorry, blackish and the politician.

We had a lot of fun and TBH I cannot wish for any other friends that aren't like Jess, Dan and Pat.

At night Jess's phone rang again.

"Why is it that, when we are binging a serie, someone has to call you," I tease.

"I don't know, maybe it's because I'm loved," Jess smugly says as he walks to pick up his phone.

"Or it is because some of us are so good looking that people who want to talk to us must do it face to face," Dan teased.

Jess suddenly froze and stared at us with confusion on his face.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"Look," Jess responds as he holds out his phone to see the caller ID.

On the screen is a picture of Collin.
