Raven was preparing herself in her vanity.

King Ben had called for a press release and a spectacular event; as he would announce that the newly chosen Isle children would be coming to Auradon.

Raven still wasn't one for crowds or garish parties, but she was very proud of her friends and her boyfriend for going forward with a cause that was dear to their hearts. They wanted to give the children a chance to find the peace and opportunity they had gained since being brought to Auradon.

Carlos and Raven were now living together in a small cabin in the woods-- that they shared with their dog, Dude. Raven had recently found an injured barn owl in the woods and she was working with Carlos, who was now in veterinary school-- to help to rehabilitate him. He was a new resident in their home as well. Raven named him, Tootles, after one of the Lost Boys that she'd became fond of as a child.

Raven was applying some blush and was donned in a pixie style-- red white and black dress. She chose the colors as they were Carlos' favorites. Raven had styled her hair in a fancy braid revealing her pixie ears--that Carlos insisted she never cover up. Raven was a strong independent woman, but she had always felt that her ears made her different, so she would hide them. However, Carlos loved everything about her and wanted her to feel okay being herself.

Carlos had already gotten dressed and was coming to check on Raven. He walked up behind her and put his hands on her shoulders. He leaned down and started to kiss her neck, distracting her from her task.

"Hey now, Isle Boy, you're making this difficult." She playfully scolded.

"How could I possibly help myself, when you look so gorgeous?" He cooed.

"Oh, so it's my fault, huh?" She challenged, playfully.

"What can I say? I'm powerless against you." He replied. "No one could resist. "

"Alright, you cornball, reel it in." She laughed.

"When are you going to realize how stunning you are?" He asked, sincerely.

Raven just blushed.

"Don't be all bashful. It's the truth." Said Carlos.

Raven stood up to reveal the full ensemble, and Carlos' breath caught in his throat.

"It's all my colors... " He gasped, smiling.

She nodded.

"Oh! I almost forgot. I got you something." Carlos revealed a small ornate, box. He opened it and showed her a silver chained necklace with a sparkling onyx, raven pendant-- dangling from the chain.

"Carlos." She gasped. "You didn't have to do this! It's so gorgeous. It's... it's perfect. Just like you."

"The black sparkle reminded me of your eyes. You'll always be my Black Bird." He expressed.
