"Of course, you'd defend him, you two are always freaking out if anyone's gonna leave y'all behind!"

"Because we know what it's like to be left!" Tuck looked at me as I got in his face. "We had no one, we've been from home to home. And no one came back, no one wanted us. All we had was ourselves. Do you know what it feels like not being good enough, not enough for anyone to come back? No you don't. Because you guys have a mom and dad, siblings. I lost my family to a fire, when I was 3, Tuck."

"Why are you so scared all the time? You act like we left, but we didn't, we're right here."

"You did leave him! I went back for him, not you. You were to much of a coward to go back for us! What if we were in serious trouble? Munch is suppose to be the coward, you're suppose to be the funny guy. Dawns the brains, where the yell do we fit in? What are we just the good looks or outcast to y'all?" Tuck looked angry after I said that.

"How can you say that? You two aren't just outcast, you two fit perfectly in the group." I looked at the camera that's pointed at us and stepped closer.

"Turn the camera off." Alex told him, getting off the fence a little.

"What if it was you? How would you feel to be left alone? Not knowing if someone was going to turn around and come back?" He pushed me away from him a little, almost making me lose balance.

"Hey." Alex slapped his camera out of his hands. "I'm glad I'm moving, you were never my friend." I looked at Al, he looked at me asking if I was okay.

"Is that right? Is that right?" He came over and pushed me out the way as he and Al got into it... what the hell, I let out a oof sound as I hit the ground.

"Guys, guys, come on, just-just chill out." My eyes widen when I saw Tuck about to punch him.

"Alex!" But.. to all our surprises, he caught the punch and kicked his feet making him fall, HE DID IT! I laughed in disbelief, he actually did it.

"Come on!" Emma pulled them apart. "Have you lost your mind?"

"I know we're all tired and stuff, and hungry. I saw this awesome diner. We can totally just go grab a bite to eat or something." I looked at Dawn as she helped me up making Al looked at me, his eyes grew and he smiled.

"Did you see it?"

"I saw it, you finally did it." I wrapped my arms around him and let out a laugh, I looked at Emma, and let go. He gave me a confused look but I walked away before he could ask anything. I forgot him and Emma... mh.

"So, that's it?" They all looked at me as we sat at a table in the diner. "The night's over?" I looked at Al whose on my left, who looked confused.

"Doesn't have to be. Right?" I looked at Munch. "I mean, if it is, uh, we could.. I don't know, I guess we can keep the mood going, yeah?" No one said anything making him change his mind. "Or we can do it another time, right? Good times, the continuation, part two. Right?" Tuck scoffed before sighing.

"Hm. You know what? I'm gonna talk about Sandra." Oh god. "Man that girl used to beat the crap out of you. Me too. We were both little, small and scrawny. She was a big girl, and she knew it. But I had a growth spurt, and you didn't, and I finally did something. You remember that?" Hm.

"You told her I had polio."

"Yeah, I told her that, and did she beat you up after that?" He shook his head no, I scoffed.

"I doubt that's what got her to stop." Al looked at me and smiled-ish.

"She still beat me up." I looked at Munch and cracked my knuckles.

"Until I stepped in." They all gave me a scary look, remembering my first day.

"Cause, I-I always got your back, man." Tuck said getting back on topic. "I never let you down; I always got you back." Tuck sighed before continuing. "Most of the time. Just when I'm not freaked out about security guards, all right? I'm sorry, man. I'm sorry Lia, I pushed you, I shouldn't have. Are we good?" I looked at Alex, making him look at me, he grabbed my hand, making me confused, I looked at Emma who had a little smile on her face, ok?

"Yeah." Our moment was ruined when Echo broke down, literally. We put all the parts in the bag as we saw the construction worker, Alex hid the bag under the table. He walked over to us and put down some medal thing.

"Sure are doing some traveling tonight." The medal thing made a static noise.

"Our parents are in the bathroom."

"Uh-huh." The thing began to beep, making echo beep back, shit. He leaned over to the bag. "Let it go."

"What are you doing?"

"Dude! Hey, what are you doing?!"

"Don't grab his stuff like that."

"Stop!"

"Give us back our stuff." I told him, when he didn't. Before I could do anything, he went up there sad something to the woman before leaving, Munch put a helmet on and ran out jumping into the back of the truck.

"Munch!" We all ran out to him. But it was to late.

"This is not real, this is not real, this is not real right now."

"But it is, we have to hide." We got on our bikes and hid.

"Don't let them see you." I looked at them as a phone went off.

"It's Munch." He answered it in a hurry. "Munch?"

"I need help, guys. I really didn't think this through."

"We're here."

"We're right here." I said after Tuck, sighing that he's okay.

"Are you hurt?"

"Can you guys hear me?" His voice kicked in and out.

"Are you okay?"

"Where are you, Munch?" Al asked worried, please be somewhere we know.

"We'll find you, all right? I promise."

"I think I'm at the construction site." His phone began to static.

"Come on, buddy."

"Munch!"

"I can see the big lights and up at those... the white trucks.." The line disconnected.

"How far is your neighborhood?"

"It's way over an hour."

"All right, I think I got a faster way." We all looked at Tuck, before looking at each other. "Who wants to go to a party?"

"Let me guess, your idiot brother is at a party... wait.. his car. Let's go." Everyone got on their bikes, I got on my skateboard.
