Stray Kids's Changbin x Felix

AU: School

Description: Felix is the nice boy who sometimes gets picked on for his sexuality. Changbin is the boy who's introverted and keeps to himself. But what happens when that introverted boy finally sticks up for Felix?

Felix put the cute rose that Seungmin gave to him in his hair, smiling at the beautiful color of it. He had started gaining an interest in flowers recently, and with Seungmin thinking Felix was just the prettiest of boys, he gave him a rose that he found.

A pretty rose for a pretty boy.

After setting it up in the bathroom, he went to math, feeling like he was on top of the world with all the girls smiling at him. At least the girls were nice. Meanwhile, the boys with the toxic masculinity couldn't accept Felix for who he was.

It wasn't even so much that he was gay, rather... it was because he preferred wearing things that are typically "made for girls". He obviously wore roses in his hair, but sometimes he'll wear a skirt and be super comfortable in it.

Like today, we was wearing a black skirt with knee high socks. He only got good reactions so far, mainly from the girls and the other gays, both of which were checking him out and complimenting him.

He knew that at some point in the day, the mean students would come along and ruin it, but he liked enjoying it while it lasted.

Felix was putting stuff in his locker at the end of the day when someone grabbed his shoulders and pushed him on the ground, making him land on his knees.

"Stay down, little bitch," the guy said, pushing Felix down to lay fully on the floor.

"You useless waste of a male body," someone else said, kicking his side, making him hold his body in pain.

"Stop!" He cried, gasping when one of them slapped him.

"So now the little bitch is gonna talk back to us?" The third and last one asked.

There were so many bystanders. How could they just stand there? How could they just stand there and not try to stop them from hurting this innocent soul?

They continued kicking him until someone came over and pulled one of them away.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" He yelled, making everyone gasp at who it was.

Seo Changbin, the introverted, yet popular student who everyone was genuinely afraid of since he was insanely good at fighting. Sure he was short, but he was strong.

"Stay out of this Changbin."

"No. What he does is none of your business to get into in the first place. So... you stay out of it, actually."

The guy rolled his eyes and glared at Felix. "You're lucky kid."

Then they all walked away and everybody went back to what they were doing.

"Hey, you okay?" Changbin asked, kneeling down to put his hand on Felix's shoulder.

The boy sniffled and fixed his clothes, nodding and putting on a small smile for Changbin. "Yes, I am. Thank you."

Changbin nodded and helped him up, picking up his things and handing them to him. "I see that you walk home alone a lot. Why don't I walk you home so they don't bother you?"

Felix nodded and held Changbin's hand as they walked out of the building. It was a nice day outside, which is why Felix decided to wear these cute clothes. Even though he did like the compliments and attention, he never did it to impress anybody. He always just did it to make himself feel good.

And he did continue to feel that way now that the bullies were gone. He held Changbin's hand tighter and smiled at him as they walked. All he could do was silently thank the older for what he did.

That made his day.

A few months later, Felix went to prom with Seungmin, hand in hand. They were going as best friends of course, since Seungmin himself was even confused about what his sexuality was.

Felix was wearing a red shirt and a matching red skirt, getting the same praising look from most of the nice students. He didn't see the same mean students from a few months ago though.

They kind of started leaving him alone after Changbin came along, except for the occasional glares and shoves in the hallway.

Speaking of Changbin, he went back to being a loner after that day. They hung out and had fun for a little bit, but when the older went home, Felix felt like he just lost him again. He saw him around school, but Changbin would never come up and talk to him, and he was kind of afraid to do it first.

"Felix. Felix. Felix!"

Felix was snapped out of his thoughts and blinked rapidly at Seungmin. "What?"

"What were you thinking about?"

Felix shook his head and took his phone out of his pocket, making Seungmin nod in understanding that he didn't wanna talk about it.

"Wanna dance?" Somebody asked. Felix looked up and saw that someone was asking Seungmin. His name was Christopher Bang, a popular student who was also from Australia, like him.

"Sure," Seungmin smiled at him before taking his hand and giving Felix a thumbs up as they walked away.

Felix sighed and rested his chin in his palm, feeling alone now that his friend was gone. He picked up a brownie off of the table they were sitting at and ate it with a small pout.

"Get yourself together," he told himself. "Seungmin might finally be figuring out his sexuality. I should be happy for him, not jealous."

"Who are you talking to?" Someone asked from beside him, making him jump and look at them.

"Changbin? Wh-what are you doing here? I thought you didn't go to school dances."

"I don't. I just felt like I owed you an apology for not talking to you more after that day. I'm sorry."

"It's okay," Felix smiled at him. "So are you gonna leave now?"

Changbin shrugged and looked at all the students who were having fun. Dancing didn't seem interesting to him, but when Felix stood up and held his hand out to him, he playfully rolled his eyes and stood up too.

They walked out to the dance floor as a slow song started playing and Felix giggled at Changbin who looked uncomfortable surrounded by all these people.

"Just close your eyes. It's okay," Felix whispered, resting his head on Changbin's shoulder.

"You look really nice today," Changbin chuckled, playing with the hem of the boy's skirt. "Red suits you."

Felix pulled away to look into his eyes and smiled. "Thank you, Changbin."

Changbin nodded and leaned in to gently kiss his forehead. "You're welcome. Do you wanna um... maybe hang out more often? At... my house... or yours. And um... we can p-play games and go out to e-eat food."

Giggling, Felix hugged him with the biggest smile on his face. "Are you asking me on a date Changbin Hyung?"

"Maybe."

"Well, yes. I accept."
