Constance never really acknowledged time; it was just a thing that limited you really.

So, the last few days before the borrow were average, time went by things happened people said goodbyes and see you later.

School ended the day before they were going to the borrow so she mainly read books while sitting on windowsills all over the castles, went to visit some of the magical creatures they had in the castle or stay with her friends and chat in the common room.

Out of know where it was time to go to the borrow, she had actually remembered her alarm this time so she was already dressed in some nice jeans and a hoodie but was being rushed by a very stressed-out Ginny while shoving books into a bag Hermione had charmed for her.

"Come one we are going to be late-

"Constance how many books? You're as bad as Herm-

"Hermione! Hurry up and choose a shirt already we are going to be late! And it isn't my watch this time"

Ginny was running all over the room, waking up poor Hannah who was still sleeping, and probably everyone else in the eighth year's dorms.

When they had finished Constance's, hair had become a lions main, it was even worse than Hermione's, so she quickly cast a spell to tame it slightly then tied it into a bun with small ringlets still on her face.

"Ok let's go!' Ginny shouted enthusiastically, as the girls picked up their bags and walked downstairs. They were greeted by many angry glares, Constance made eye contact with what looked like a very angry and tired Blaise Zabini and she just nodded her head towards Ginny, and he gave her an "I knew it" look then smirked.

Hermione looked really embarrassed Ginny just kept smiling sarcastically at people, but Constance just carried on walking and fiddled with her locket.

They started to fast walk running down the stairs so they wouldn't miss the first train leaving Hogwarts, it only confused her that Ginny and Hermione decided on the earliest train but she wasn't complaining apparently not many people got the early train so they would be able to spread out.

"Just on time," Hermione sighed as they quickly hopped onto the train.

The girls walked down the train to find a big compartment that they could sit in then something caught their attention.

"Hey Gin--" Constance started "Isn't that your owl outside the window?".

Ginny quickly opened the window and I very old, tired-looking owl flew in and sat on a seat in the carriage, Ginny stroked the owl then retrieved the letter from its claw.

"Who's it from?" Hermione asked as she walked into the carriage and sat down.

Constance repeated Hermione's actions as the train started to leave the station, she looked out the window and saw Hagrid who looked like he had been waving at them for ages she waved at him and gave him a smile, he shouted something along the lines of "have a good time".

Constance leaned out of the window slightly and shouted back "have a nice holiday Hagrid! Send us a postcard from Hogwarts."

Unfortunately, she couldn't hear his reply because the train was picking up speed, so she closed the window and sat back down.

Ginny sat down next to Hermione and started speaking "The letter was from mum and dad, basically about how she was excited to see all of us again and was excited to meet you," Ginny reopened the letter to skim over the print again "oh yes and dad is going to be asking you loads of questions about muggle stuff, he normally does that to Harry but you've grown up there for most of your life."
