Exams were a week away.
Those were the simple words Kongpob kept repeating to himself. He knew how serious those exams were for his lover. He had to accept that his P'Arthit's attention would be focused on school. He was hopeful that things would get better between them after the exams, when his love wasn't so stressed.
After the late night dinner at the BBQ place, he had yet to hold his sweet darling again. In other words, he was still in the dog house and to make up for it he was following P'Arthit's orders to the dot. On their last week of the tutoring lessons, Kongpob tried to arrange one-on-one lessons over at his home to get some "tutoring", P'Arthit saw right through him and vetoed that idea.
Kongpob still tried to find a way to spend time together but the senior was not helping. He knew he messed up when the cutie sent him the 'nope' reply. With more reason, he's been trying so hard to make up for it but nothing he did was working.
P'Arthit wasn't ignoring him or anything like that. If anything, the senior was teasing him more than ever.
After the tutoring sessions, P'Arthit took his time getting his things together until only the two of them were alone in the room. Only after everyone else was gone would he unbutton the top buttons of his shirt while fanning himself with his hands. There were times where he would even drink water from a water bottle carelessly. Kongpob had a difficult time holding back from trailing any stray drops of water that would roll down that mark free neck.
Oh, how he missed that neck.
But P'Arthit put a stop to all physical contact other than hand holding or hugs. He cherished both things because people knew they were together when seeing them around school or in public holding hands. Those hugs were warmer now that it was the only way he could hold his darling as close as possible. Arthit would sometimes, more like 10 out of 10 times, have to push him away so they could go their separate ways.
Even now, they were sitting in P'Arthit's dining room with open textbooks. It was only here or in a public area that Arthit would let him have those one-on-one study sessions. Kongpob kept reminding himself that this was better than nothing. The slightly smaller teen was looking just adorable with a small frown while erasing his incorrect work.
Kongpob grinned when Arthit looked up, their eyes meeting. That grouchy voice made his face light up even more.
"What?" Arthit asked, eyebrows frowning even more.
"I'm lost."
Arthit looked down at the notes he had given Kongpob. "I summarized them in a way you would understand. It's all the stuff I could remember that were covered on second year exams. In what are you lost?"
He could see no fault in the sheets. Arthit looked up at Kongpob again, not understanding how he could be lost.
"I'm not lost in the work, P'Arthit. I'm lost in the beauty of your eyes. Maybe your lips can help me find my way to reality?"
Arthit's heart felt like it would burst from the sugar overload. You cannot given in, Arthit. This idiot has to learn his lesson.
All Kongpob saw was the homicidal eye twitch and rolling of said eyes. He made the twitching worse with a sweet smile bonus added for effect.
"Concentrate on your studying."
Kongpob leaned forward over his books, brandishing a half smile. "But when you're concentrating on something, you look so charming."
Internally, Arthit felt more butterflies burst, making him feel all fluttery. Do not give in, Arthit. No matter how cute he looks right now.
