A few days passed and it's currently the last day of December, meaning once the clock hits midnight, it's New Year. But Lia spent her time taking care of the sky blue boy in the clinic, the doctor had said he still needs to undergo multiple tests to immobilize the poison in his system if it's necessary

Haneul is still left to be a mystery after her sudden disappearance, "I really don't like the way you surprised me but I'll let it slip for now." Soobin chortled at her expense, "At least I'm wide wake now, isn't that all that matters?"

"Yeah... You got me sick worried back there and everyone else in the dorm, but it's good that you're feeling a lot better now. Do you know that... —"

The leader frowned at the reminiscing thought, "That Haneul did this? I know, Lia. And it's actually so disappointing that she was aiming at you in the first place, not me." "And that proves that she's the fugitive behind all of this. I'm sorry, I don't know why she's doing this but I'm certain that it has something to do with me." Her lips formed thin line, "I have a feeling you're not telling me anything, Lia."

A dejected sigh escape her lips, "Like... what exactly?" Soobin fixated his gaze on her, unable to perceived any secrets, "Like what happened to you last time. When you were pushed down the stairs."

Her brain instantly shuts down at the thought, "What? You think I actually forgot what happened to you? You still haven't given me any name for whoever did that to you." Licking her lips with anxious thoughts, she diverted her gaze

"Lia, I don't get why you're keeping that person in your thoughts and my gut is accusing someone but I have to be certain. Just... please tell me." She felt her hand being encased by another pair of warm hands, "I won't judge and you'll never get any negative reaction from me."

When she glanced back, she almost felt a bit remorseful, he's looking too desperate as if a man dying of thirst, that compelled her to open her mouth to speak, "Haneul once threatened me to stay away from you." Just like what he told her, his expression remains passive

"But of course I didn't, though I did keep my distance minimal from you, thinking she felt a bit left out for your attention. I let it slid for the first time because it didn't really cross my mind that she'll go way too far than words." Lia couldn't decipher what the boy must be thinking

"And then a few weeks passed when she actually... Well, you know. Then I guess she wasn't so satisfied at what she caused and so she tried to poison me to death." She flung her arms as an indication that it's obvious, Soobin was silent throughout the minute she finished narrating

The blue haired boy frowned at the reason, "No wonder she was back firing the story to herself." Just at what he expected, Lia furrowed her eyebrows in perplexity, "She told me you blackmailed her from staying away from me."
