Her Confession

A week of uneventful days passed since the week break of Hanlim students. Well, maybe as uneventful for the majority of students but not between the two groups facing different perspectives and occurrences

There's only one week left before December month welcome them and the boys are just with their casual selves but not the same as the girls who's been fretting over their maknae from the past days but they couldn't seek the chance to visit her since they're all have been very busy because of school works

Though, they did call her but it was still not enough to check if she's really fine. Kai have been wondering what happened to Yuna but they just decided to keep it a secret since Yuna asked them to and they respect her wish

They already knew Kai learned the truth and he was muttering loads of apologies to Yuna in his room while actually crying. But the blonde girl is completely oblivious by this and her mind is still knotted with the thoughts about Kai

Her birthday is nearing as well as the tallest creature alive in their dorm, Lia has been collecting knowledge about the sky blue haired boy to give her any ideas which would he prefer for his birthday gift

But just as she expected, she couldn't pick which one she'll buy for him. A torturous week to plan for his birthday but nothing is entering her mind

"Lia, you need to calm down. I'm sure he'll appreciate anything you'll give him." Assured the scarlet haired girl who's nonchalantly reading a book with a small smile

Lia had noticed this strange behavior of Chaeryeong since last week but didn't actually worried about it too much

"I know, but I really want to give him something nice. I already thought about Yuna's gift in one hour but why can't I even think at least one idea what will I give him? And it's been one week! One freaking week, men!" She slumped on the couch with her while groaning in frustration

Just then, Kai entered the living room with knitted eyebrows, "Yuna's gift? Is her birthday coming up?" He queried with a frown but then he suddenly gasped as if he realized something, "Wait, it's on December 9, right?!" Chaeryeong nodded her head without bothering to look at him

"Noona, what exactly happened to her? She's been absent for a week now, that has to he connected in some sort of family or medical problems." Both of the girls sucked a deep breath, "Kai, we promise you that she's alright. I mean if she's not then we'll be prioritizing her more than our studies."

An unknown emotion passed through his features before it diminished, "I'll get going to class, I'll see you around, noona." He waved a goodbye before exiting the dorm

Chaeryeong looked at the elder, "I think he's getting more and more sus about her as the days passed. We should persuade Yuna to just tell him the truth, I mean he already realized his mistakes, hopefully he'll reconcile with her in no time."

"Oh, he will. Yuna is just overwhelmed by what happened from the past months, and with her condition I don't think she would want for Kai to worry that's why she asked us not to mention this to him." The girl pursued her lips and sighed deeply
