I walked slowly into my dorm and fell on my bed.
"How are you feeling?" Asked Willow.
"Exhausted. I never knew lessons were so long! It's less tiring at home."
"I can only imagine" She replied.
"At least I get to stay with my friends" I told her, smiling.
She smiled back.
"Hey, have you heard the latest news?" She enquired.
"No, what is it?" I asked her.
"The criminal Sirius Black escaped from Azkaban. Apparently he wants to kill Harry Potter." She shivered. "Another Death Eater free..."
I frowned. Since my dad was a death eater, I knew all of their identities, and Sirius Black definitely wasn't one of them. I didn't say anything thought.
"You don't look like you're scared of him" Said Willow suspiciously.
"I already faced worse" I answered, before realising no one was supposed to know and adding "I mean, my brother's Draco Malfoy"
She laughed. I was relieved my joke had made her forget about my mistake. I had to be more careful.

I entered the infirmary. Draco was laying on a bed, staring at the ceiling.
"You really had to insult Buck?" I said as I sat next to him. "I mean, I know you hate Hagrid but it was no reason to wound yourself to expel him."
"Are you serious? He's a horrible teacher." answered Draco, turning his head to look at me.
"I quite enjoyed his lesson actually. Flying on a hippogriff was really fun."
I stared at the ceiling, remembering that sensation of liberty.

"Right, you mostly enjoyed sitting so close to that stupid Potter."
"Excuse you, but I hate him too you know! I mean, he insulted me even though he didn't even know me! That was actually the bad part about the lesson. And, if I'm being completely honest, the best part was when you whimpered like a crybaby. I mean, it just scratched you!" I laughed.
"Laugh all you want, but that whimpering got Hagrid expelled."
"You're such a brat"

"Well sis, that brat is in Slytherin and not the disgrace of the family."
As soon as he said that, he put his hand on his mouth and stared at me. I turned my head.
"No need to rub it in..." I answered, trying to control my shaky voice.
"I'm sorry Y/N, I didn't mean it!"
I stood up, fighting back the tears forming in my eyes.
"It was nice seeing you, Draco" I said before running out of the infirmary.

I stumbled into the common room. It was late so there were only two people, talking together next to the fire. I rubbed my cheeks to get rid of the tears. I walked fast towards the door of the dormitories, hopping they wouldn't notice me.

"Y/N?"
F*ck. I turned down slowly, putting on my biggest fake smile and hoping my eyes weren't too red. Harry Potter and Hermione. Great.

"What are you doing out so late?" Asked Harry.
My teeth clenched. It reminded me of the first time he spoke to me, when he had yelled at me. I breathed in slowly and answered.
"I was visiting my brother."
A lump formed in my throat as I remembered his words.
"Your eyes look red." Remarked Hermione.
Why did she have to see it?
"I guess I read too much."
What a horrible excuse.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
I felt tears coming again, and turned my back on them.
"I'm just a bit sleepy..." I answered, my voice trembling.

I heard Hermione get up and walk towards me. She put her hand on my shoulder.
"Did something happen Y/N?"
I shoved her hand off.
"What's with all the questions? Leave me alone!"
My whole body was shaking. Hermione gripped my shoulders and forced me to turn around. Tears were starting stream down my cheeks again. Harry had gotten up too, and looked like he didn't know how to react to my sudden breakdown.
"Could you leave us alone two seconds?" Hermione asked softly.
Harry nodded and went back into his dormitory.

Hermione led me towards the couch and sat me down.
"Mind telling me what happened?"
I looked away. I hated to be so weak in front of her. I rarely cried, and most certainly not in front of other people, even though being at Hogwarts seemed to make me cry a lot. I could see Hermione was waiting for an answer.
"Seeing my brother hurt is hard for me."
Worst lie ever. Hermione looked at me suspiciously, she had obviously understood I lied, but she didn't say anything. Instead, she just hugged me tightly for a few seconds. I blushed a bit. She gently wiped my tears away. Caramel chose this moment to come out of nowhere and jump on my knees. I smiled and stroke him softly while he purred. Hermione chuckled.

I hugged my cat tightly, got up and headed back towards the dormitory, Hermione behind me. Hugging Caramel made me feel better. I quickly changed into my pyjamas and went to bed. Caramel settled down next to me, and I fell asleep petting him.

Yay! A new chapter, after 3 months of abscence! TwT
