His Girls

Chapter 6

Adain was acting weird. He had been since the night Alyssa got sick. I knew he was hiding something from me but I don't know what. When ever we went out to go eat or to go shopping he'd glare at any male that came near us. At first I thought he was being possessive of me but after a while I realized he was guarding the girls.

I'd just gotten out of the shower and was brushing my hair when Adain came and dropped onto the bed and grabbed a pillow and pressed it over his face.

I giggled and climbed on top of him and moved the pillow away so I could look down at him.

He sighed and dropped his hands onto my thighs before slowly rubbing them up and down.

"Whats going on?" I asked sliding my hands under his shirts feelings along his abs and chest. He sighed and suddenly grabbed my hips jerking my hips forward so my core was directly on his arousal. I shook my head at him knowing he was trying to distract me.

"I mean it Adain what's going on? I don't like you hiding things from me." I scowled lightly scratching him.

I could see him contemplating telling me before he closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh. "Fine. Alyssa shows signs of having met her mate."

I stared at him beyond shocked. "She's a baby!"

Adain nodded and let out another sigh. "Yeah I know that. It happens sometimes the girl being born years after the male. Its said when this happen that our goddess knows the girl is going to need a protector growing up and who else is going to protect her more than her mate. The male never feels anything sexual towards the girls till she's of age but it dosn't mean I like this. I don't want any males near her." He growled his eyes flashing black briefly.

I rubbed his chest trying to calm him down. I agreed with him, Alyssa was just a baby she didn't need to be around any males especially not a mate.

"Do you know who it is? I mean when did she meet him?" I asked frowning. 

"I don't know who it is but I think it might have been at my dad's house. Who ever it is knows their her mate so sooner or later their going to show up. Males can't go long without seeing their mate."

I frowned confused. "But you..."

Adain smiled and leaned up pressing a kiss to my shoulder.  "I might have been a total ass to you but I was always around. I knew Mike was your friend and he kept me updated. I also made it a point to see you at least once a week most of the time I got a glance at you when you worked at the food store other times when you went out with Mike. Its beyond me how I didn't know you were pregnant though I think Mike might have something to do that. I should kick his ass just for that."

"Awww you stalked me." I cooed.

He rolled his eyes but couldn't hide his embarrassment.

I bit my lip and thought about Alyssa. "What do we do about this guy. I mean I don't want him near her but can we really keep him away if he's her soul mate?"

"Yes we can we're her parents. We'll deal with him when he shows up."

I groaned and leaned down pressing my face into his neck. "What about Alicia?"

"She isn't showing any signs but their twins so I wouldn't be surprised if her mate stumbled along too." He sighed.

"Their just babies." I whined. Why couldn't they just be normal little werewolf babies and met their mates after high school or something?

"Yeah their our babies and nothing and no one's ever going to hurt them. Not them or this little guy." He whispered lifting me up to rub my belly.

"Could be a girl you know." I grinned.
