"Look man", I get serious, "That conversation was all jokes"

Brandon is my friend and all but he's crossing the line

"You don't know Lauren, and I'm not hanging out with her to get in her pants or whatever else bullshit you have in mind"

He looks shocked, "Whatever man, you called on it, I don't know why all of a sudden you're such a simp"

A while ago Brandon and I including a few other guys decided to make a deal. We all agreed on getting with a girl to see who'd be the best in bed.

Of course, I agreed. But that was before I got to know Lauren. I made a deal and told them I'd be the one to get in her pants.

"Forget what I said, but I'm not going to let you run your mouth"

Brandon shakes his head, "Fine"

"We will just put Lauren on the Fuck List, I'll have Zach do it", he says

I clench my fist, "Say that again"

"I said we will put Lauren on the Fuck List", he answers

Without hesitation, I punch Brandon in the face

[Laurens pov]

I finish eating my food and leave the cafeteria, I see Joey and this other guy throwing punches

"Joey!", I yell

I run towards them and before Joey could throw another punch at the other guy, I stop him

"Stop it!", I yell, "What the heck is going on?"

The other guy backs off as I get in the middle of their fight, but Joey continues to try to throw another punch at him

Joey backs off, realizing that I'm in the way

"What's going on?!", I repeat myself

[Joey's pov]

Lauren broke off the fight between Brandon and me, she got in the way of our fight so I had to stop from there or else I'd end up hurting her

How am I going to explain to her what just happened? I would end up having to tell her the truth, she would be so hurt.

I can't do that to her. She would think I'm using her. That conversation Brandon and I had, including those other guys, meant nothing.

"Joey", I look him in the face, "answer me"

He wipes the blood off his cheek

I walk out of the cafeteria and the first thing I see is Joey and some random guy fighting, what the hell could have possibly went down?

Joey ignores my question, I don't know why he's acting like this

The other guy walks away and now I can finally get answers from him

"Why are you ignoring me?", I ask, hoping to get an answer

"I'm not", he looks at me, "Don't worry about it"

Whatever, if he says it wasn't serious then I won't worry

School is dismissed and I walk to the gates, waiting for my dad to pick me up

He arrives and I get in the car, we pick up Brandon and we arrive home

My mom is working from home today and for tomorrow so my dad will be picking and dropping us off at school

"Hi mom", I smile

"Hey, you guys are home", she gets up and walks towards us to give us a hug

I walk to my room and plop on the bed, i expected it to be a good day but it went okay

Joey got in a fight with some random dude who I don't know of, Allison said she needed to talk to me which ended as a pointless conversation

I sigh and go on my phone, I check my socials and see that everyone is out having fun with friends

And I'm at home sitting in my bed doing absolutely nothing

Great, I'm bored as heck

I look at my backpack and realize that I haven't done any homework, I get started on that

Soon I finish and head to sleep
