Wednesday~
I wake up to my alarm beeping, I take a moment to get up and just stare at the wall
My dad knocks on the door
"Good morning", he walks in
I smile, "Hey"
"I'll be dropping you off at school today so get dressed", he says, "We're going to have a talk"
He closes the door, what does he mean by have a talk? Am I in trouble?
I get out of bed and walk to my bathroom, this time I wash my face with a cleanser and brush teeth.
The alarm on my nightstand goes off again, I forgot that I put it on snooze, I turn it off and make my bed
I make my way down the stairs and see my parents already eating breakfast, I sit down beside Brandon and my mom serves me my plate
"Honey", my dad looks at me
"Your mom and I have important business work to do that includes being out of town for a week"
"What about it?", I ask
"We won't be home for a week, and we need someone to take care of the house", they look at me
I furrow my brows
"Will you be willing to take care of the house while we're out?", my mom asks
"I-"
They both seem serious about it, I mean I don't mind except I don't want to be alone
They wait for an answer
"Fine", I answer
My mom smiles
"Thank you sweetie", she says
I smile, "Will Brandon have to stay home too?"
"Yes, except he will be staying with your aunt", my dad answers
I nod
"That's fine with me", I say
"We talked about it with him before you came downstairs", my mom says
"When will you guys be gone?", I ask
"Next week", my dad answers

The bell rings and I pack up my stuff, I leave class and walk to the football field to chill
Some guys are throwing the football back and fourth, I notice Joey hanging with the boys
He notices that I'm watching and runs up to me
"Hey", he smiles
I smile
"What are you doing next week?, I ask
"Well, I mean we have a whole week off next week", he sits down next to me,"I will just be at home chilling"
"That's it?", I ask
