'Goodbye. Furlan, Isabel'

A few months later Levi and the others were set off to go beyond the walls. Unfortunately for you, you had to stay back at HQ since you weren't fully trained. The only things you could do was hand to hand combate and you could control the ODM gear a little.

As of right now you're sitting at a desk, two soldiers teaching you about titans and how to kill them.

"Blowing of their heads won't work, it'll only regenerate."

"So how do you kill a titan?" You looked at the soldier. Surely there's some way to defeat those titans, right?

"There is one way" He showed you a poorly drawn titan

"Slice here. The nape is their weekness." He circled and pointed at the nape

"Use these blades to slice the nape. These blade are made out of steel called, Ultrahard steel. They are strong enough to pierce the titans body. However, these blades have limitations. These blades could lose their sharp edge and become blunt or they could break." He showed you what the blades look like.

"Lift her up!"

As of now you were practicing on your 3DMG skills. They proceed to lift you up, your feet leaving the ground. To their suprise you managed to stay up right.

While some if the soldiers were surprised.

Some were angered by this.

"How? I trained so hard and this underground brat think she could learn how to use the so gear easly."

You heared him rant. You knew he wasn't really angry, he was annoyed. Most of all he was jealous.

They had learn how to wear the gear, you wondered why there were so many belts.

After learning how to wear the gear, they showed you how to use the gear.

"Hn!" You grunted as you slice the nape of the wooden makeshift titan. The soldiers tried to make you fail at this exercise but, Levi had taught you how to be fast, and to know what was going on around you.

You had passed the exercise. This made the soldier veterinarians even more jealous.

"Aack-!" The woman exclaimed as you threw her over your shoulder.

It was no suprise that you were excellent when it came to hand to hand combate.

A soldier then tried to grab you from behind, but you were quick. You elbowed him in the face, making him stumble back, he held his bleeding nose. Using this opportunity, you then kicked him in the stomach, making him fall to the ground.

It was clear that you were bored.

"Ahhhh!" A girl let out a cry. She ran towards you, ready to punch you. You sighed in annoyance. You stepped a side, foot out stretch, making her trip and fall to the ground with a thud.

You took a bite of the bread that was given to you, accompanied with soup.

You went outside to get some fresh air when something dropped on your face.

It was a rain drop.

It was starting to rain. This worried you.

'Will Levi and the others be alright?' You wondered.

ou heared hooves outside. You instantly knew. Levi, Isabel and Furlan are back. You ran towards the front.

You saw injured soldiers.

Some couldn't even stand up with out support.

The two soldiers that were with you the whole day, ran beside you. Upon seeing their wounded comrades, they instantly started tending the injured.

You started to look for and the others but, you only found Levi. You ran up to him.

"Where's Isabel and Furlan?"

He didn't look at you. He didn't answer you.

But, he didn't need to say anything.

You already knew.

You couldn't find Isabel and Furlan, Levi couldn't look at you. His eyes showed sorrow.

Isabel and Furlan were dead.

For the next months you had been training.

Sharpening your skills.

Until you were as strong as Levi.
