Draco's POV
For the next few weeks we talked as friends and me and Luna acted as a couple. I guess i wasn't really feeling the whole being in a couple with Luna thing because the person i actually liked was in a couple with another person, But by the looks of things Lily wasn't happy in her relationship either. Last week she came crying to me that 'cedric doesn't listen to her.' and 'how unhappy she is being with him. Long story short mine and Luna's plan was working.
Your POV
Me and cedric practically hate each other or i just hate him either way i was so over being with him. I just wanted Draco. I was finally going to tell Draco and maybe he would feel the same way. The whole day i thought about what to say to Cedric to break it off. when i finally got the chance me and Cedric sat on a bench in a quiet hall. "what is it you want to talk about?" i looked at him thinking of the nicest possible way to let him down easy but none of my sentences seemed right.
"cedric. I don't think we should be together anymore im just not happy anymore." He didn't say anything he just looked at me confused. "what? what went wrong." honestly, i could write a list of things that went wrong but draco always seemed to be the main thing. "i dont know." i said shrugging my shoulders. "just not the same. Im sorry." i said shrugging my shoulders. "friends?" i said holding out my hand as a peace offering. "whatever." he said standing up and walking away. Now to talk to draco. I didn't know where to find him but all i had to do was find Luna and i would find him since she was always following him around like a lost puppy.
I found him and Luna in the grand hall alone. "Oh im sorry am i interrupting?" i said secretly hoping i was. "no. Not at all." he said moving away from Luna and towards me. I could tell it bothered Luna and i secretly loved it. "ill leave you two to talk or whatever." she said as she rolled her eyes off me and left the room. "i need to to talk to you Draco. Its important and it cantwait." he gestured for me to sit down next to him. "I like you Draco. I always have." he sighed. "cedric?" i smiled. "hes not a problem were over." he immediately started laughing. "it worked it actually worked. Shes amazing." i stood up confused. "what?" he stopped laughing and looked at me. "me and luna aren't actually dating. I just wanted to get you back and make you jealous and she agreed to help me." i don't know why but it made me mad. "Draco what the fuck? So it was all just a big lie to get me jealous? Ugh i was so wrong about you." i said storming out. "lily wait." he said trying to grab my hand but i pulled away. Fuck Draco malfoy.
As i sat in my room i looked at the letter on my bedside table that read 'you have been accepted to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic.' i had applied to the school when Draco had ghosted me and i didnt know where he was. My mum had went to that school and she had dreamed of me going to but my dad wanted me to go to hogwarts. Maybe it was time for a change. After alot of thinking i decided to send my mother and father a letter telling them to collect me and i would tell the head the next day.
As i arrived to my first class the next day i sat next to hermione. "Can you believe how much work we get in this school?" she said gabbing on. "hermione i need to tell you something." i said quietly. "okay? what is it." She said sounding concerned. "im leaving. Forever." she fell silent. "and going where?" she said screwing her face up at me. "Beauxbatons Academy." hermione had always hated that school. she thought they were all snobs. "but.. ill hardly ever see you anymore." i didn't mind i thought getting away from all this would be better for me. "we can visit each other and when we go home we can arrange stuff." she sighed. "well don't you have a bit of time before you send an application and get approved?" i hadn't told anyone about me applying to Beauxbatons. "well no. I've already been accepted." i didn't want her to be mad at me on my last day. "are you mad?" she looked at me and smiled. "of course not. I'm happy for you i really am lily" she said as she hugged me. At the table i told the others. Cedric, Ron, Harry and the twins and Luna. They were shocked but i told them i would visit them and it seemed to make them take the news better. "so have you told Draco." hermione said whispering so the others at the table couldnt hear. "no and im not planning to." i said taking a bite of my food. "whatever you say."
At the end of the day i went to my room and got my stuff together. Dumbledore was at my door to say goodbye and my mother and father were beside him. I smiled knowing i was happy with my decision to leave. "there's something i have to do." i said walking back into my room and putting the letter i had woke up extra early to write onto my bed. I walked out the school and took a breathe of fresh air. To a new start.
Draco's POV
When Luna came to my room i was going to tell her we didn't need to do the plan anymore and that i had finally got lily back but she seemed rushed and out of breathe. "whats wrong what happened?" i said getting up off my bed. "quick shes leaving. Lily leaves today for Beauxbatons." my heart sunk. I ran as fast as i could to her room to find a letter placed on her bed that read:
Dear Draco, I hope this letter finds you.
I would like to thank you for showing me happiness, love. Ill remember you forever and after. I hope you find happiness in your life without thinking off me. I hope you find someone who shows you what true love is just like you showed me. I hope you find someone who intoxicates you the way you did me. I beg that your next love isn't bitter and you are forever happy. But most of all i wish you the best in life even if your heart is with another. Ill forever remember the nights we spent laughing or just simply talking about the little things. Our hearts might intertwine us once more or they might not either way i wish you the best in everything you do. Nothing more, Nothing less.

I dropped the letter and ran through the halls to the main entrance to see she was no where in sight. I was too late she was gone.
I walked back to my room and sat on my bed with my head in my hands. Until a familiar warm hand was placed on my shoulder. "Draco." I looked up to see her. Lily.
