Morning sunrise,
The rooster sang to the sky so that every creature could hear,
Farm animals moaned and wished the bird would be quiet,
But none of them have the guts to tell the rooster.
Afternoon, the farm animals sprinted inside the cat den,
A mama cat is giving birth,
The kitten was out and the animals cried "aw",

One morning, the rooster bellowed,
The pigs groaned and the goats mellowed,
The cows mooed and the chickens moaned,
The kitten, who was groomed by her mother,
Realized the problem on every animals' face,
So the kit moved away from her mother's tongue,
And pushed through the cat door, to the fence that holds the mighty rooster,
"Mr. Rooster," cried the kitten, "Why do you alarm us every morning?"
The rooster looked at the kit with his eyes and said,
"Because if I don't, no animal will wake up,"
Mr. Rooster leapt off the fence and faced the young cat,
"Without me, animals would've missed your birth."
