Ada-1 was filling out requests for weapons from guardians, all from a dinky little hand cannon, to an enormous rocket launcher. Then she heard loud footsteps stomping down the stairway, she immediately recognized the sound as she turned around. Silver came running into the room smiling...holding a rather large box.
Ada: Um...love...what is that?
He then sets the box down on the floor
Silver: *very enthusiastic* Look and see
She walked over to look in the box and she gasped in shock. Inside of the box... was a baby cabal war beast, it had none of the armor that was seen on war beasts that were in the cabal's military and it seemed to be very malnourished but also incredibly happy.
Ada: *slightly panicked* W-where did you find that thing!?
Silver: I found him wandering around the EDZ, poor little guy was left behind by the cabal. He came running up to me immediately then sat right down and started panting like a dog. So I brought him back here
Ada: H-how did you even get him into the city?
Silver: I showed him to Zavala, he was hesitant at first but he said it was okay for me to keep him
Ada: Y-you...we c-can't keep that thing
Silver: *sad tone* why not?
Ada: IT'S A CABAL, they are an enemy of humanity, they only know how to kill, and this creature is no different despite how young it is
Silver: Ada... nothing is born a killer, all cabal are raised to be like that, but this pup was abandoned by his family. If I could train and raise him the right way, he wouldn't be a monstrous killing machine, besides he wouldn't hurt a fly.
He then picks up the pup and shows him to Ada
Silver: See?
The pup then sticks its tongue out and began panting like a dog as it wagged its very small tail. Ada eventually put her hand on its head and gave it a pat, the pup then pushed its head into her hand asking for more pets.
Ada:*sighs* Okay, we can keep him
Silver: *chuckles* thanks hun
The two exos then sat down as Ada held the pup in her lap and gave it belly rubs, it tried grabbing her arm which she chuckled at
Ada: So do you have any idea on a name
Silver: I was thinking...Bear
Ada: Bear...I like it
The two then looked down at their 'dog' who had fallen asleep in Ada's lap, Ada was already calculating where Bear's bed and other things could go
Silver: Welcome home Bear
