27: The Official Couple

"Oh. So I had just misunderstood the whole thing?"

"Pretty much, silly."

"But why did he do it? Kiss you, I mean. Was he confused about his feelings for you? Sorry, I'm being nosy. Its not my business."

"Its fine, Cobs. I'll tell you, but only because I know you won't tell. Basically, Eric likes Juyeon."

"But I thought he liked Hyunjae?"

"Thats the thing. After Eric noticed that, he felt kind of hurt and stuff, you know a heartbreak. But he wasn't heartbroken for long because then he started to have feelings for Hyunjae?"

"But he likes Juyeon back?"

"Well yeah, but Eric likes them both."

"He's poly?"

"I guess. Thats what he was confused about. He thought that maybe he just wanted some kind of attention and love from anyone, but he realized that it wasn't the case after he kissed me."

"Well I'm glad that you were able to help him figure that out. That sounds like a scary situation to be in."

"I know right? Anyways, get up and get dressed. I wanna take you out for dinner tonight."

"What? You could have told me that ahead of time! I would have had time to do a face mask or something!"

"Awww is Cobi worrying over his looks? Don't worry, love, I think you look handsome even now!"

"Shut up, Kev. You can clearly see how much my cheeks had bloated because of how long I was in bed."

"Okay, maybe. But in my defense, you look so cute!"

After an hour of Jacob complaining about his looks, Kevin had managed to drag him to the restaurant down the street. It wasn't anything fancy, because neither Jacob or Kevin could handle those kinds of places.

They had ordered basic things like a hamburger and a fajita, with a side of fries. Kevin had gotten the hamburger, since that was his go-to and Jacob got the fajita since it had been a while since he last got the chance to get one.

The two talked and laughed all through out dinner. They were both happy to just be in each others presence. They were so happy together, that they didn't want the date to end there. Jacob had brought up the idea of taking I night stroll through the neighborhood, and who was Kevon to refuse?

As they were walking, there was only one thing going through Kevin's mind.

I want him to be mine.

They went on dates, they held hands, they called each other pet names, but they had never officially became boyfriends.

Jacob had seemed to notice that Kevin was zoning out, since he had stopped walking.

"Everything alright, Kevs?

"Yeah, I've just been thinking about something."

"Whats that?"

"Would you wanna be my boyfriend? We're pretty much already a couple, but we never really put a label on it."

"Of course I want to be your boyfriend, honey. I already told you that I was going to ask you about that."

"Oh yeah. I kinda forgot about that."

"You're so silly, love. Wanna go back to the apartment? Its getting kinda chilly."

"Yeah, we can make some hot coco and just relax."

"That sounds amazing."
