HOPES FROM MOON

Happily smiling, it shines in the night sky
Oaks and Pines are colored in it's house of dye.
Painted into the layers of silver,
Enchanting and elegant for ever.
Shadows of trees floating in water:
Feels like artworks but better.
Realising the grace of nature, amazed
Oh Lord! the poet exclaimed.
Moon, my dear moon
Marker of hope and fortune,
Old to new times, you always granted wish
Of everyone, even the witch.
Naive you are, you make the humanity enriched.

Note:

☑ The pale moon rising may also point to Mary as symbol of hope

☑ A Full Moon Means Good Luck

✳ Basically Hopes From Moon is totally based on some folklores and beliefs. The explanation behind the title is that Moon gives Hopes... So, just change the order of words and it becomes Hopes From Moon. For poetic purposes I have did this.

✳ And yes it's the main poem of this book. I have been working on it for a long time ago.

(Added) : It's just a little stuff I added into the poem.
If you see the lines vertically, you will notice the first letters of the lines actually make the title.
I just thought as it's the main one, so why not decorate it a bit more? xD
